  We enjoyed staying at the smaller property - it was very quiet and nice (and clean). Having W/D was a life saver. The beach was close enough to walk to with our 18 month old twin toddlers. Golf course in the back is quite an asset. The entire place is very family safe and friendly and I would highly recommend this to anyone with a family.

  House #2: I cannot recommend renting this home enough! The posted photos do not do it justice, as it is quite a bit more elegant than we expected. The home is sparkling clean and luxurious, with a fireplace in the master bedroom and a full "spa" master bathroom, complete with a jacuzzi tub and a "rain" shower that is destined to make you feel bad about your bathroom back home. The kitchen features a beautiful open layout, too. All of that said, we spent the majority of our time lounging on the back patio, which is bordered on two sides by a wooded lot and a golf course, respectively. The home is certainly the nicest in the neighborhood and provides quick access to Diamond Lake, which is a couple of blocks away and visible from the street. The ONLY caveat I would issue is that Diamond Lake is predominately ringed by private frontage, so to actually get out on the lake involves a (very short) drive to a public dock, as opposed to simply walking down the street to a private beach. We had a wonderful weekend and would recomend renting the home to anyone seeking either a romantic getaway or a group of guys looking for a comfortable and relaxing getaway weekend.

  Comment for House #2. Dear Sheppards, We had a wonderful time at your beautiful house just off of the Diamond Lake Country Club golf course. The location is great, just off of the lake, for an early morning run. Also, we golfed at the DLCC and a few other courses in the area. The accomodations made for a wonderful getaway. Thank you!

  Every year my YAYA Sisters rent a house, we had a wonderful time The House was COZY & PERFECT, My YAYAS' Loved it. We usually go the end of September but had to postphone due to surgery of are friend Harriet we all deserve some rest and it was great to have her with us!! We did have a great time visiting Notre Dame, and other towns near by, Wasn't too crazy about the first SNOWFALL, but we had the fireplace to warm us up on our return, hope to visit again!! Thanks Terry!!

  Dear Terri and Dave, We really enjoyed staying in your beautiful home while during our "Band Reunion Weekend" at Notre Dame. . .It was lovely to be able to come back after the craziness of the trip to campus, make a nice dinner and relax with old friends.   Dear Sheppards, What a great spot to vacation. Felt as though we were in a cabin. Summertime is great but I look forward to a fall visit too! The accomodations were excellent with extra beds and the kitchen was fun to cook in as well! Thanks for a great week!
