We invite you to come and stay at our wonderful beachfront home, the Galveston Sea Star, located in the Sea Isle community! Enjoy amazing views of the gulf while relaxing on the balcony or spend time with family downstairs at the picnic table during a cookout.
The Sea Star will sleep up to 10 people in 3 bedrooms and a downstairs Murphy bed. Each room includes a TV and fresh linens on the beds. The living room provides spectacular views of the ocean as well as easy access to the kitchen. The downstairs floor has wood floors throughout and the kitchen provides granite counter-tops and stainless appliances.
The beach is car-free (other than the occasional city beach official), giving parents more peace of mind when your kids are playing. The home includes an outdoor shower, a picnic table and 2 person swing, fast cable wireless internet, HDTV's, Blu-Ray players, and a spacious dining area.
Your stay will include a pass to the Sea Isle community area, which includes a pool, tennis, private fishing pier, and fish cleaning station. Located just 1.4 miles away, the hangout also has an excellent restaurant and bar.
We are happy to consider up to 2 dogs of 25 pounds or less. If you intend to bring a dog, please inform us in your inquiry.

About the owner: Rick and Tina met back in the 1970s while attending the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. We have spent our working lives serving rural communities with limited access to health care. Dr. Rick is a small town doctor who specializes in making house calls to elders, and Dr. Tina is an occupational therapist who works with special needs children in country schools and is a university professor. Paul and Rose work in engineering and human resource management in the Houston oil industry. Lily is in middle school and is becoming a skilled photographer. After being away for so many years, the whole family is enjoying being back in Galveston.
Why the Owner Chose Sea Isle: We chose this property because it is located on a beautiful wide swath of beach, has plenty of open space on all sides, and it is within an easy walk of the local convenience store. Because it is a part of a homeowners association, we also have access to a swimming pool and private fishing pier.
The Unique Benefits at this House: In addition to being perfectly situated on a car-free beach, this house has a large, secure storage area containing bicycles, beach and barbeque tools, and a variety of useful supplies. The house is in pristine condition and has two twin bunk beds, one queen bed, one king bed, and a comfortable new full-sized Murphy bed. The kitchen is well appointed, and the living area and bunk bed room have new flat screen TVs. Internet service and a home security system are provided.
