This charming guest house is located in a very peaceful setting with beautiful natural surroundings everywhere! The house has both up-to-date furnishings and appliances and is immaculately cared for, (well portrayed in the photos provided), offering those who stay with an extemely comfortable living situation . The owners were readily available to answer questions about the area and regional activities ~ Polly and Rob are a very accommodating couple. I would highly recommend this pleasant Gite to anyone visiting the Bellingham area and hope to re-visit in the future. Thank you, Polly and Rob, for your many kindnesses during my stay.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: So glad you enjoyed your stay with us, looking forward to seeing you again in the future. regards Polly and Rob

From the moment we arrived the cottage; my family and I felt like home. To begin with the owners we waiting for us and welcomed us as we arrived. Additionally, we were given a mini tour of the cottage to guide us on the basics. Now the rare compliments of true hospitality, is to find the very basics fridge to get us through the night. Upon our arrival we found coffee, cereal, milk, cheese, juice and toast. Truly unexpected, yet very thoughtful of the owners especially that we arrived late in the evening. Clean is an understatement!!!! The cottage was sparkling!!! It is very spacious yet conveys a warm cozy ambiance, which was perfect for Christmas. The owners were beyond helpful!!!! There are a variety of activities nearby and the lake is spectacular!!!!!! I would highly recommend this cottage to all my friends and family; not to mention that I would re-book to stay there again.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: Thanks so much for your kind review. It was wonderful meeting all of you. Thanks for teaching me how to make the best turkey ever!!!!!! Do come back and visit with us soon. Warmest regards to you and yours Polly and Rob

This is a wonderful cottage with terrific hosts. Everything was as listed and the property was lovely, clean and well maintained. The location provides easy access to Bellingham north or to Seattle south. We would recommend this property to friends and relatives and anyone desiring a quiet and comfortable experience. For peaceful walks in the immediate surroundings in the mornings to Bellingham's shopping, harbor and many restaurants only a few minutes away, the location is ideal. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again in the future.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: Thank you Richard and Jane for your review, it was such a delight meeting you both. We hope to see you back here soon, especially with the upcoming birth of your grand daughters!! So exciting, I believe just a few weeks, days...til their arrival.

I live in New York City and am accustomed to exceptional standards - and I must say, I have never been more comfortable nor better taken care of than I was during my stay at this clean, quiet, idyllic Bellingham cottage!! The owners were attentive and available for anything I needed, but never intrusive - I enjoyed long walks around the lake, fabulous time and R&R with friends and loved ones, wonderful meals and uninterrupted sleep...all the necessary elements for my perfect getaway. Bellingham is a (relatively) undiscovered treasure of the American West, and the owners of this property among its finest jewels.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: It was wonderful having you as a guest. You are an amazing dancer Adele and the students at WWU are so lucky to have had this learning experience with you. We do hope that you come back and visit with us soon, this time to play instead of to work. Love Polly and Rob
