A private deck invites you to soak up the sun and enjoy views of the ocean by day or city lights at night. This single-level house with courtyard and lawn makes family entertaining ideal. It offers privacy with lots of charm to make the most of a romantic get-away.
The expertly decorated, spacious bedrooms and living area feature exposed beams and retractable skylights that open to cool ocean breezes. There is adequate room to sleep seven to nine persons. The master bedroom features a king-size bed. A second bedroom offers a twin plus a twin daybed with trundle bed. The living room includes two premium grade full-size innerspring mattresses on futons. A light and bright updated kitchen offers an open floor plan for comfortable seating. There is a garage for your convenience.
Take a short walk to the beach or the Pier Bowl where you will find some of California’s best surfing. Use our boogie boards for your own fun in the sun, or grab a beach chair and relax! Ride the nearby Amtrack Surfliner on the Atcheson, Topeka, and Santa Fe railroad. Pamper yourself with luxury linens, then wake to cool ocean breezes!

Why the Owner Chose San Clemente
This house is located on a quiet, residential street just two blocks from the beach. Many San Clemente streets do not have direct access to the beach or the boardwalk, but this property has both. Once you get to the end of our street and feel your toes in the sand, it is not uncommon to feel like you have your own private beach area, away from the pier, yet just a 5 minute walk along the sand or boardwalk to get to the pier!
The Unique Benefits at this Beach Cottage Home
We fell in love with this property because of the wonderful, private courtyard. The house feels much larger than its square footage boasts (1100sf) because of the large windows and open floor plan. It is freeway close (yet you cannot hear the traffic) beach close (yet you are not in the hubbub of the pier) and close to amenities (stores, restaurants, Starbucks!)
Most San Clemente streets do not have direct access to the beach and boardwalk, but West Mariposa does! Want your own semi-private access to tide pools, body surfing, sunning and swimming spots? Wan
Within a one minute walk, you have access to snacks, beach supplies, drinks, household items, medications, etc.
Open for breakfast and brunch only, you get generous helpings of home style breakfasts. Just a minute walk away from 119 West Mariposa.
Great Mexican fast food. Looks like a "hole in the wall" place, but the food is great. Always a poplular place with the locals. Bring cash - no credit cards accepted.
Great food, interesting artwork on the walls. Range of prices for an entree and side: $10-20. Great bands on the weekends.
Metro link will take you to San Diego or Los Angeles. This area also has good parking for day use of the beach, with fire pits. Parking costs a few dollars a day.
