We are the owners of a historic farmhouse dating back to the 1400s, built on Colle Giorgio, a hill just outside Perugia. Located in open countryside, but a mere stone's throw from the historic centre of the city, it was converted into a family villa in the 1970s.
During 2001-2002, the building has once again been refurbished and remodelled into three sumptious apartments, which are intended for families wishing to spend brief holiday periods in Umbria.
We are a typical italian - umbrian family : Mum, Dad and me,Giuseppe. My Mum is in retired now but she was a high school teacher. My Dad was the general manager of the tourism board of Umbria. At the moment he is in retired too and he works as a private consultant.
I studied International Comunication at the University. In a short time Villa Nuba will have a new family unit: next October I'm going to marry a lovely girl whose name's Elga. She is from Perugia too and soon we will start our new life together in Villa Nuba. She has already worked as a receptionist and marketing manager in luxury resorts and farm holidays and she will be happy to manage with me our vacation rental. We are looking forward to meet you and drink together a glass of good Umbria wine in front of our new swimming pool with salt water! What are you waiting for? We stayed at Villa Nuba for 5 weeks in September – October 2004. It is very conveniently situated and, whilst it has beautiful views of the countryside, it is also very close to public transport, cafés and shopping. The centro storico is also within reasonable walking distance. We were delighted with our stay there and had a marvellous time. The Nuzzaci family were very welcoming and friendly. Our apartment was spacious, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Giuseppe and his family reside on another part of the property and during our stay they were always very pleasant but never intrusive. Giuseppe himself was always most helpful and assisted us in many ways from collecting us at the station to assisting with booking football tickets. We can unhesitatingly recommend Villa Nuba to anyone wishing to visit Perugia. We hope that all is well with you and your family. We are hoping to return to Perugia early next year.
