THE CHARMING VILLA NUBA APARTMENTS are part of a historic farmhouse dating back to the 15th century. The Villa is located amongst the idyllic Umbrian hillside, surrounded by olive trees and vineyards but at the same time very close the historic Etruscan and Medieval centre of Perugia. We stayed at Villa Nuba for 5 weeks in September – October 2004. It is very conveniently situated and, whilst it has beautiful views of the countryside, it is also very close to public transport, cafés and shopping. The centro storico is also within reasonable walking distance. We were delighted with our stay there and had a marvellous time. The Nuzzaci family were very welcoming and friendly. Our apartment was spacious, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Giuseppe and his family reside on another part of the property and during our stay they were always very pleasant but never intrusive. Giuseppe himself was always most helpful and assisted us in many ways from collecting us at the station to assisting with booking football tickets. We can unhesitatingly recommend Villa Nuba to anyone wishing to visit Perugia. We hope that all is well with you and your family. We are hoping to return to Perugia early next year.
