Nestled against a mountainside and near the beautiful Big Thompson River, the D&J Victorian Townhome offers beautiful surroundings and a relaxing atmosphere. The cabin has a victorianized exterior, an immaculate, beautifully decorated interior, and a front porch with swing to enjoy the refreshing Colorado air and wildlife that frequent the area.
The townhome is located in the Blue Spruce Village - a quiet, private community just outside of the city limits of Estes Park. Rocky Mountain National Park is just a quarter mile to the west of the property, allowing an easy 20 minute hike directly to Moraine Park within Rocky Mountain National Park.
The Big Thompson River is about 50 yards away, and guests have full access to both sides of the river, including picnic tables. The following are some of the comments we've received from past guests:
"Thanks for letting us share a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend with out-of-state family in your beautifully appointed townhome. The photos on the web don't do it justice."
"How lucky can you be? Browsing through the internet for leads, a few telephone calls, a long cross-country drive. A spot on the map became reality - Estes Park, gem of Colorado's Rockies. Then over strange streets to Blue Spruce Village and our home for one wonderful week - the D&J Victorian. It was truly a pleasant surprise to walk into such a warm and homey place. And it was immaculate!! We hate to leave, but have enjoyed every minute of our stay here and look forward to a repeat performance."
"We had such a wonderful time in Estes Park. And we couldn't ask for a better place to stay. All the personal touches really made us feel welcome. We hope to come back in the near future. Thanks for making our time in Colorado really special. God Bless!"
* The D&J Victorian is a no-pets, no-smoking property.
** Children over 12 are welcome.

A++++++!! We loved our stay! Townhome was comfy, warm, clean and inviting. By the first night we were calling it 'home'. Location was perfect... close enough to get to everything in Estes Park, but just enough out of town to be quiet and peaceful. When I return to Estes Park, I'll be staying here :)

Strengths: Located in a very quiet vacation cottage like neighborhood. You can soak your feet in the brook or fish. House is clean and in good order. Located a few miles from the RMNP entrance. Only a 1/2 mile from a trail that leads up to Morraine Park. Great for trail running or hiking from the house. House is as advertised. No surprises. Weaknesses: Beds are kind of hard.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, girls getaway, sightseeing, romantic getaway.

Great location - enjoyed hiking into the park every morning and strolling on the banks of the Big Thompson every evening. The wildlife was amazing. The home is located in a friendly condo community and was a wonderful place to come home to - quiet and peaceful, homey and comfortable! We hated to leave!

What a wonderful townhome. Extremely clean, cozy and comfortable. Great size kitchen and dining area. Bedrooms - two with master bathrooms, were perfect and decorated with the feel of a bed and breakfast. Location was ideal just outside of Estes Park...close enough to get to everything, but far enough away to avoid the hustle and bustle. Communication with the owners was outstanding. I would highly recommend this property and will definitely be back again soon.

We stay at the D&J often. It's not as close to town as some, but we hardly ever go to town. We'd rather walk into the National Park! Clean, well-maintained, all the amenities one needs. Quiet.
