About: I am a writer - producer - a specialist in Communication for Peace
Profits from this rental are invested in Sustainable Projects and Trainings in the Culture of Peace
Why Navona: I acquired this property when I was still very young. A disgrace (a motorbike accident when I was returning home from the University of Rome) became a grace (the insurance finally). I bought Pellegrio Terrace without seeing it! At an auction. The insurance provided the first down payment. My work, during ten years, paid for the rest.
I was living in New York at the time, and I knew. Rome is meaningful in its historical centre.
My son and I adore this flat and now love to share it with friends and guests. Once expenses are paid, profits are invested in Sustainable Projects in the Culture of Peace:
I chose the area of Campo de´ Fiori, even if it didn't have a good reputation at the time, because I loved its mix of people, flavors, styles. Rome is, for me, first of all historic Rome.
I don't live in Rome all year round and I like to share, to allow other people to feel like a Roman in the centre of Rome.
You are welcome. As my guests. We'll do everything we can to make you feel comfortable and show you as to live as a Roman in Rome!
Hospitality is an art, however, and difficult to achieve.
My sister and I will do our best to make you feel comfortable and at home.
We treat our guests as friends.
With special care.
The Unique Benefits at this Apartment: Pellegrino Terrace is unique. Located in one of the most lively areas of historic Rome, Campo de ´ Fiori, on top of a fifteenth-century building decorated by Polidoro da Caravaggio.
The street, Via del Pellegrino, and Campo de' Fiori change scenery from dawn to midnight. You'll find out by yourself!
The building is one the few fifteenth-century buildings decorated with frescos on the façade. It took a long time to find out the author, Polidoro da Caravaggio, who called the beautiful composition 'L'invidia e la fortuna' (The envy and the good luck).
The flat is on the top and last floor. It includes a large terrace with views of Roman roofs and the sixteenth-century English College tower with its pleasant bell.
The property was completely restaured and is constantly improved. It offers all the comforts necessary to contemporary life.
You are welcome as one of our friends in Rome.
