Casa de Delfines is located on the first street outside of Puerto Viejo and only a 200 meter walk down our quiet street to Playa Negra. This location means you are close to fabulous restaurants, shopping, spas, and nightlife in town and in complete tranquility at the house!
The lower level consists of a dining room, kitchen, full bathroom, bedroom, and laundry room. The dining room has a hardwood table and chairs. The kitchen is fully equipped for days when you would rather eat in. The full bathroom has terra cotta tiles and a large walk-in hot water shower. The downstairs bedroom has glass windows and air conditioning and is the perfect place for sensitive electronics. The laundry room has a washing machine and wash basin. Dirty beach clothes are no problem and no need to pack tons of clothes!
The beautiful hardwood upper level consists of the living room, two bedrooms, and half bath. There are cathedral ceilings for great air flow and Hunter fans in every room. The living room is open air and faces towards the Caribbean. There is a hammock so you can relax and listen to the sounds of the jungle and ocean! The half bath is a Jack and Jill style that can be accessed from both bedrooms. The master bedroom has a full sized bed, mosquito net, and shelves for clothing. The second bedroom has two twin beds and one large mosquito net that covers both beds and also has shelving for clothing. There is a large safe for personal belongings. Also each bedroom has a keyed door.
The house has a home phone for free local calls and wireless Internet. Casa de Delfines gives you the comforts of home while being in a tropical paradise!
The property is fenced and gated with a beautifully carved dolphin gate and a carport. The tiled back patio faces the garden and has many tropical trees and plants.

About: We came to Puerto Viejo with our family and fell in love with the area and the people. It was like finding that dream place that has been in your head for a long time. We knew we had to call Puerto Viejo home, at least part- time! Since we cannot be there full-time we want to share our home and this wonderful place with others.
Why Puerto Viejo:
We believe it is a great house for many reasons. It's proximity to the beach and town are perfect. The home has a cool concrete bottom with vaulted ceilings and ceiling fans on the upper level for maximum comfort. The kitchen and bathrooms have all of the modern conveniences that make you feel at home while in a jungle paradise.
