Complete oceanfront property. Private 3 bedroom, 2 bath with fold out couch on private lot. Quiet street in residential Paradise Park. Area along the water has a vacation feel to it. Unobstructed views of ocean. Eight miles to small town of Keaau and only 14 miles to Hilo central with Walmart, airport and nice restaurants as well as botanical gardens, museums, snorkeling at Richardson's Beach Park.
Very close to Volcano National Park as well as the lava flows along the coast.

Our two week stay on the big island.
My sister and I rented this property for 2 weeks in June of 2013. We were looking for a place to stay other than a hotel or a resort atmosphere. When we arrived and entered the front house we were amazed at the charm and cleanliness that greeted us. As we settled in, it occurred to me that this was someones beautiful home, not a rental. We especially enjoyed the enclosed lanai or patio room facing the ocean. Everything was in working order and well maintained. Every day we opened up the windows...morning and evening...to enjoy the cooling trade winds and the sound of the surf breaking on the rocks. My sister literally spent hours sitting in a chair, out near where the surf hit the rocky coast as was rewarded with watching turtles surfacing in the ocean. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking utensiles. We barbequed a couple nights and enjoyed preparing our own meals many days and nights. The house is stocked with many books describing the best spots on this side of the big island. The host and owner could not have been nicer or more helpful. It was truly a wonderful stay. I contacted the owner and asked to stay an additional three nights and he gratiously accommodated us. I have already suggested to my son and his wife that this large house could easily hold our entire family and that we should bring my grandchildren soon. Thank you so much to the gracious host and owner of this wonderful home.
