We had an incredible time here in Costa Rica. The rainy season proved not to be so rainy after all! The little bit of rain was actually quite enjoyable considering the heat. We did most of the local tours - ATV, national park, zip lining, hiking - all of which were quite good. The local restaurants are hit or miss. If you want to treat yourself to a great, great meal, then get a hold of one of the personal chefs through the office at Escape Villas. The was truly a great surprise, and a great person also. The wildlife around the house was so unexpected! Butterflies, monkeys and lizards are everywhere! Have your camera ready! The best part of our vacation was just relaxing on the porch at Casa Samba, enjoying the view, the clouds, the waves, the birds and the breezes! Thank you!

Our group of 13 with 3 families absolutely loved Casa Samba. We had monkeys visit early morning and late afternoon. Beware of feeding them or else they will never leave and/or come back and steal your fruit when you're not looking! We saw a group of toucans flying by on our last day - so amazing! The beaches are beautiful and the shopping is fun in Quepos. Our favorite restaurant was Agua Azul, but our personal chef, Roger was even better! It was an amazing adventure and we hope to be back!

The premises here at Casa Samba are extremely well taken care of - and so were we! The view and the monkeys are amazing! We all loved gathering in upstairs room at night the indoor pool, the wine cooler and the billiards table! The outdoor deck is the perfect place to unwind and read a book while taking in amazing ocean views. I hope your vacation is as relaxing as ours was!

We were 4 couples here and found the premises here lovely and the entertainment of the wildlife was even better! We were treated almost daily to monkey and lizard visits at the house and loved swimming in the pool while watching the wildlife move about! We even got to see a sloth! Escape Villas was very, very helpful and friendly - just ask the staff anything and they will find the answer! Thank you for everything!

Our group had a wonderful time in Manuel Antonio! We rented both Casa Samba and Casa Dolce Vita. They are both wonderful villas with views that won't quit! The monkeys visited every day - sometimes even twice! Our private chef cooked for us 5 times and we looked forward to each and every meal! The best part of our trip was spending time relaxing and enjoying the company of our friends in such a fabulous environment! Pura Vida!

The best part of this beautiful home was watching the wildlife around the house - we saw more here than anywhere else! It was so awesome to see butterflies just floating around the house! We had many white-faced monkeys frolicking around the house and heard a few howler monkeys at times. Seeing a sloth from the house slowly make its way through the trees with a baby on her back was the highlight of our trip. One day, our 5 year old and I were alone in the house, just enjoying the ocean views, and she said "I love Costa Rica... even more than Colorado!" We all hated to leave - we hope yo have just a great of a time as we did!

What a marvelous adventure our son-in-law treated us to! Our 6 days in Manuel Antonio had been the time of our lives. It was shared with our son-in-law, 2 daughters and our 5 year old granddaughter... who was afraid of the bugs! We quickly adjusted to living with wildlife - after all, it is their home we were vacationing in! By far, the best time was just enjoying the wonderful villa - the two pools and all of the lavish surroundings!

We have so much to be thankful for - from this group of friends who traveled from AZ to Costa Rica, to this beautiful villa overlooking the beach - we had the time of our lives! In one short week, we managed to see the national park, go deep sea fishing, rafting, mountain biking, zip lining, snorkeling, horseback riding, spa day and surfing - whew! We did all this in between the hours spent relaxing and enjoying this fabulous house in a fabulous location with fabulous views. Many thanks for such a wonderful time!

Wow, what an amazing and beautiful villa. Every bedroom is decorated so beautifully and we loved how tropical the house and the surrounding villa! Even though the pictures show the rain forest, this house is so much more impressive in person!! Talk about vacationing in the jungle! The kids loved the infinity pool and the billiards table the most - such a treat!

First of all, the view that streches out in front of Casa Samba is simply one of the most stunning sights I have ever seen in my life! Manuel Antonio is officially paradise. I cannot wait to return to Casa Samba. I can hardly pry my friends away from the ocean view pool to explore the rest of town! The house is a dream and we are thrilled to have had a chance to live in it for this glorious week. We have fallen completely in love with this place and our beautiful surroundings. Fernando was extremely helpful and a genuinely cool guy. I can't possibly say enough good things about the crew at Escape Villas. I f we needed anything, literally, anything, Ricky and Val were right there to help us out. We love Casa Samba!

Our stay is over - how sad as we so enjoyed our stay in paradise! The monkeys were great but you have to get up early in the morning to see them or watch carefully during the afternoon. Our private chef was wonderful - the lobster with mashed potatoes was to die for! We even had massages at the villa - it was so fabulous and I wanted to take her home! My entire family from across the country had a ball!

We spent a wonderful week relaxing and enjoying Casa Samba, Manuel Antonio Park and the beach. Our favorite spot for dinner was right on our own patio, where our personal chef prepared a variety of delicious entrees for us to enjoy. The service was great too! My son established himself as one of the best surfers under 5 yrs old - how cool! My 3-year old loved the national park where he could explore every inch of ground, wildlife and beach! What a truly fun trip for the entire family!

Fourteen of us traveled to Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica and stayed at Casa Samba and it was spectacular! We all come from various professional careers and are full of life and loved every minute of Casa Samba. All of our worries were immediately put behind us once we got to Casa Samba. No cell phones, no pagers, just plenty of fishing and cocktails! We hiked the rainforest and rented jet ski's at Playa Manuel Antonio. We even made a point to have a drink at every bar on the road between Quepos and Manuel Antonio! Our time came to an end much too quickly - none of us were ready to head back to Texas! Casa Samba, Escape Villas and Manuel Antonio gave us just the vacation we needed!

We had a wonderful 10 days in Costa Rica and it all started with the house - Casa Samba. This villa and the views are spectacular! Monkeys in the trees off of the deck, iguanas on the casita roof and even a toucan was seen! We took an overnight trip to Arenal Volcano - a really long trip with poor roads - but the view of the volcano and the hot springs were great! Thanks to Escape Villas for arranging such a memorable vacation!

This has been a wonderful house for our family vacation in Manuel Antonio. We enjoyed having Jonathon, our personal chef, cook all of our meals while we watched the sun set over the Pacific Ocean! We even went on a sports fishing tour and caught a sailfish! Every afternoon the monkeys would come out and frolic around the property - too cool! The house itself is truly amazing - we loved the two pools! When the sun is shining, we were all relaxing around the outdoor pool, and at night, we enjoyed relaxing in the indoor pool upstairs! The pool table was great and my kids loved having one at their disposal! We hope to return next year!

Casa Samba was amazing! We hung out at the house most of the time we were here because who would want to leave? Ziplining, surfing, ATV's and Manuel Antonio National Park were a blast! Squirrel and white-faced monkeys came by every day at different times. We fed them bananas until we found out that they can die from germs so we stopped. Try not to feed them, even though it is tempting! We had the chefs come in twice while we were here and highly recommend it. It ended up being fabulous meals for a great price. We probably should have had them every night! We had a great vacation!

What a surprise! Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica, is beautiful! The first day we arrived, we fell in love with everything! We were greeted within our first 30 minutes here by monkeys! They actually took a banana from my mother's hand while sitting by the pool. We will truly miss them! We hiked through Manuel Antonio National Park for 1.5 hours - a must do! Our driver for the week, Jonation, became our good friend and we will miss him dearly. You must call him for a tour around Quepos. He speaks great Spanglish! We hired a chef for 2 days here and our stay at Casa Samba would not have been the same without him. You really should ask for one and give it a try. You will feel like royalty and food is beyond words! Casa Samba is so beautiful. I loved waking up every morning to such a gorgeous view. Especially "Tito", the iguana who lived on the roof outside the master bedroom (he will greet you every morning!). If you need anything, call Lester, he is very helpful and polite. We will return! XOXOXOXO Hugs & Kisses

Greetings and Happy New Year! We've enjoyed our week in Costa Rica, the luxurious amenities of Casa Samba and the service has been the "icing on the cake" for a great vacation. It has been so relaxing, the view is breathtaking... which makes it hard to leave! In fact, we stayed in 4 out of 6 nights and asked the chefs to cook for us - a most wonderful treat! Ask them to make tres leches cake for dessert - and the mashed potatoes were the best! The guys did a lot of sport fishing with Captain Wayne - everyone caught a sailfish! We also caught mahi, wahoo & roosterfish - what an adventure! His mate was a true compliment to that experience. We went into Manuel Antonio and our guide showed us sloths, monkeys, spriders, soldier ants, etc... he was the best! One day we went horseback riding - a must-do! Beautiful landscapes, waterfalls, and a wonderful meal at the end of the tour. All 10 of us did the canopy tour and that might be my most memorable experience - an unbelievable tour swinging from cables in the treetops - how great! Lester was wonderful all week in accomodating our tours, making changes for us & his service was remarkable. Casa Samaba has been one of the most relaxing places I've ever stayed. It was a great start to 2006 - Here's to best friends, family and to new experiences and making memories at Casa Samba - Cheers!
