Great condo and a great beach!

We have stayed in several beach condos in Florida and the East Coast. We have had many very good experiences, but this one was the best! The condo was beautiful, very well equipped with everything you need, including beach chairs, cooler for the beach, even some toys for the small kids. You really just need some clothes, your swimsuit and plenty of suntan lotion as the sun shines bright everyday! Oh, by the way, don't pack clothes for everyday and then struggle to jam all those suitcases in the trunk....a washer and dryer is available and it is easy to keep up with clothes during the week. One of the neatest things, the owner of the condo, Tony, lives nearby, is on the board of the condo association and you will see him several times during the week, he insures that the entire building is in great shape, and in this condo building it is the best we have seen top to bottom! There are two bedrooms with master bedroom well appointed and with a nice private bathroom. The second bedroom can be twins or pushed together for a king bed. We had two teenage boys and there was plenty of room for the two of them, and with free internet aces and a TV in the room, they were happy and sending pictures of their day at the beach home to friends. There is always concern for cleanliness, no worries here. The floors are all tile which is great for beach vacations, the furniture is clean and very comfortable. The balcony was large enough for all four of us to enjoy the sunrise (several spectacular sunrises were enjoyed), and we were high enough for a great view down the beach and even saw dolphins playing in the water. The beach was great, a fine sand that was not hot like some of the Atlantic Beaches ....very clean beach and not very crowded. Ormond Beach is two miles north of Daytona Beach, but with two miles of Beach mansions separating the towns the crowds of Daytona are not evident.....yet with Daytona only a 10 minute drive down the road we were able to enjoy the restauraunts of Daytona and we found a couple Putt-Putt courses and a nice go-cart track across from the beach mall in Daytona the boys enjoyed, so plenty to do is a short drive away! Tony has a list of the best restauraunts, his "picks" will not let you down. Our only regret, we went in April and missed the turtle nesting season, we hope to return next June next year to experience the turtles. The Edwards family of Union KY.

WOW! The Sea Turtle is Amazing!

From a very "picky" person. Tony and Karin have really thought of everything. I did not fully trust that all I would need is my swimsuit, clothes and sunscreen... but I do now! After staying in the beautiful Ormond Beach area for over 15 years and staying at many different condos, I can honestly say that the Sea Turtle is the cleanest, nicest, most well thought out unit that we have ever stayed in. The views are wonderful. The condo is just like a previous review has stated. It is even nicer than the pictures. Too much to list. We enjoyed watching DVDs on the huge flatscreen WITH sorround sound. Romantic conversation and dinners on our balcony while watching dolphins every day. And the Atlantic Sunrise is truly Amazing! If you've never been to Ormond Beach you owe to yourself to visit at least once in your life. I assure you, you will be back. Tony and Karin, we truly thank you for sharing the Sea Turtle with us!

We thouroughly enjoyed our stay, and wished we could have stayed longer! I highly recommend this condo. It was very clean and the owners thought of everything. It was like being in your own vacation home. All you really have to bring are the clothes that you will be wearing. The beach is lovely and very easy to walk on, it's like walking on a sidewalk. The condo has been tastefully remodeled. The suggestions for meals out were also good. It was our first time at Ormond Beach, and I would definitely go back.

Great week at the Beach

My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay at the Sea Turtle. It is a beautiful condo stocked with everything we needed for a wonderful week at the Beach. We have been vacationing in this area for about 15 years and this is by far the best place we have ever stayed. The view is awesome and the beach was great. We did find that while the Blue Topaz resteraunt was great last year, it was a slight disappointment this year. Stavros Pizza, however is still the best, greek salad, pizza, pasta - delicious. Very close to all the activities of Daytona Beach if you want to venture out. We like the quiet of Ormond. We are already reserved for next year.

Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

What a wonderful place!

This is a perfect spot to vacation whatever you plan to do, even if you do want to leave the beautiful condo sometime. It is relaxing whether you are on the balcony just watching the ocean, waves and birds or a dolphin or two, or in the condo. It was just what we needed after all the harried health issues of the family. The condo is convenient to so many things, quiet, and beautifully decorated. Karin and Tony have all the special touches for having fun and finding out about the area. We thank them for their thoughtful consideration of their guests. I hope to return again and again. Thanks for the weather, too. Hope you can arrange that for next time -- it was perfect!

Tony and Karin- Thank you so much for letting us enjoy your beautiful condo...it was a great week in every way. For us, it was nice not to have to travel once we settled in..we hit the beach everyday and had great weather...just what the doctor ordered. You guys thought of everything....from the boogie boards, to beach towels...soaps...towels ...total turn key. We have rented places in the past, but nothing as all-inclusive as this. Plus the beach was so uncrowded and we really like the area. Very sad to leave! We would love to come back again!

Thank you for the wonderful stay. You have thought of everything that we could have wanted! We are sad to go. Our favorite adventures included St. Augustine, Disney World and the Manatee Cruise. Favorite eateries: Bubba Gumps and the Great Philly Cheesteak. Loved our lazy days in the pool and the ocean as well. The binoculars in the condo helped us see the dolphins up close and we caught a glimpse of the sea turtles. There was a nest right on the beach. Weather was fabulous. It was by far the best vacation we've been on, so again, thank you for sharing this beautiful condo with us. We hope to return!

Oh. My. Gosh!! After a long 24 hr drive from Canada to get here, we walked into paradise. We’ve been vacationing in Florida since our kids were 3 and 5 (they are now 17 and 19) and I have never seen them so excited. We all love your condo. My wife and I along with her sister and brother-in-law had a most wonderful vacation at the Sea Turtle from May 2 - 9, 2009. Tony and Karin have taken every step to ensure their guests have a wonderful vacation and their condo is extememly well cared for and contains everything you need - including the house coats, beach equipment and wonderful furnishings. Most important, the beds slept wonderfully and "Tony's Picks" of places to eat were right on the mark. Thanks Tony and Karin for making our beach stay perfect.

Karin & Tony, Thank you for providing us with first class accomodations during our recent stay in Ormond By-The-Sea. It was certainly like being in a home away from home and we were very comfortable. The condo was appointed beautifully and the views were wonderfully scenic, we even had several opportunities to view the dolphins passing! The property was everything we hoped for and it was very easy to get to all the attractions in the area. Thank you again and we look forward to a return engagement!

Seawinds Condo Sea Turtle Spring Break 2009

Our family had an amazing time at the condo. It exceeded our needs and more. We loved the easy access to the beach and all the great amenties and beautifully renovated bathrooms and large walk-in closet in the condo. It was really nice to have beach chairs, towels, boogie boards, sand toys, umbrella and kites available for us to use during our stay. The view was beautiful and the residents were very friendly along with the condo owners. Such personal touches and experiences were noted the whole week. The washer and dryer was also a must have and used daily with our two young boys. They slept well in the beds as we did also! Highly recommended to families or couples! The beach was very peaceful and private. Watching the dolphins from our balcony was also a big treat each morning too! We hope to make this an annual trip for our family from now on!

I wish we would have accessed this site when we were comparing properties. We would have had no reservations about staying here. So many times you see something on the net and it is not at all what you get. This is the real thing, the place looks just as good in person as it does on the net. Very, very clean and well-maintained. The owner, Tony, met us there and was very helpful, from things to do and places to go. He also gave very helpful advice in finding local eateries. There truly was anything and everything you could want on vacation. There was not one thing that any of the four adults wanted, that was not here. The only thing I would note, is that the second bedroom and bathroom is a little small. We had the beds pushed together so it was a king size bed but there is just enough room to walk all the way around the bed and that is pretty much it.

Gorgeous Oceanfront Condo-Great Beach!

My husband and I loved, loved, loved this oceanfront condo in Ormond Beach, Florida. The owners sure know how to furnish a vacation rental. Everything was there for us down to the robes and beach towels. Ormond by the Sea is a well kept secret. It is a small, charming beach community north of Daytona Beach and not like Daytona at all. No big high rises and wall to wall people on the beach. Sometimes we were the only ones on the beach. You can walk for miles on nice sandy beach. There was a grocery right across the street and some nice local restaurants. We recommend driving through the Loop. It is this drive along the coast, inter coastal and actual jungle. It was like Florida must have been 50 years ago. Flagler Beach also has some great seafood restaurants.

This is a gorgeous condo that had everything we needed. It was better than the Internet pictures and those were beautiful too. The owners live nearby and were great. They suggested restaurants and activities for us and we had a great time. This location is close enough to do day trips to Orlando and St. Augustine. The beach is clean and hardly a soul on it. We plan on coming back here next year. Ormond Beach is a well kept secret.

This condo was gorgeous. It had everything you could possibly need and then some. The direct ocean view was phenomenal; we sat on the balcony for hours and watched dolphins swimming by. The owners of this condo live nearby and are so friendly. They provided us with names of their favorite restaurants and things to do. Their decorating is outstanding. It felt like we were staying in a 5 star resort. We can't wait to go back. Definitely recommend this condo and this beach town. It's close to Orlando for day trips and don't forget to do the Space Center and St. Augustine.

We loved this rental. It has everything we needed. All we had to do is bring our clothes and toothbrushes. We felt right at home here. The owners have taken good care of this property and thought of everything it seems. It is clean, right on the beach with a beautiful view, close to shopping and restaurants. This place has it all!

My club and I really enjoyed staying at the Seawinds. The condos were decorated beautifully. We stay at a lot of hotels, timeshares and resorts but we really felt comfortable in Ormond Beach. Thanks for all of your hospitality Tony.

We were fortunate enough to stumble across your website during a Google search--BINGO--just what we were looking for. The condo is tastefully decorated, spacious, comfortable and has a very "at home" feeling. The sunny balcony and beautiful master bedroom provided the mood to just relax and be lazy. Having a television in all the rooms provided and entertainment source for everyone in the family. All the "extras" came in handy; we wanted for nothing. Thank you for this special touch. Karin and Tony, you are warm and gracious hosts. Your haven by the sea is a delight! It reflects your wonderful style. Your attention to details has surrounded us with comforts and so many things that helped us to relax and enjoy this beautiful place. Last night, the ocean was gentle and the moon was full. Little waves curled into shore sparkling with the light. It was beautiful.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week here in Ormond by the Sea. We enjoyed listening to the waves roll in each day. The kids loved boogie-boarding in the waves and swimming in the pool. It s very relaxing and comfortable here. We also enjoyed the Kennedy Space Center and 2 days at Disney. Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful condo!

Karin and Tony, How could anyone come here and not love it? The sunrise is beautiful. We watched the dolphins swim by almost every morning. The pool was very comforting after a long, hot day at SeaWorld and Universal. We went swimming coutless times in the ocean and the pool. We would love to come again. Thanks, Terry and Merry Atherton

Your condo is beautiful and we had a wonderful time there. Waking up to the wonderful sound of the ocean and watching the dolphins glide by was awesome! I wish we could have stayed another week, but we had to go back to Ohio. Hope to come back next year.

We had a great time and really enjoyed your condo. It was probably the most comfortable place we've ever stayed. The beds are great! We even got to see the space shuttle launch right from our balcony. We hope to stay again and will certainly tell our friends.

We live on the Greenbrier River in WV and it was nice to enjoy the ocean for a change. We had a wonderful, relaxing week. We enjoyed the comfortable king bed and all the pampering. Thanks for a wonderful week!
