Serenity Place Guesthouse and Dock at Pleasure Bluff is located on the Julienton River near Shellman Bluff. Our Georgia guesthouse has one deluxe queen-size bed with eight-hundred thread count linens and down pillows and comforter, and two Adjustable Craftmatic Twin Beds.
The guesthouse has central heat and air conditioning and three ceiling fans for your comfort. There is a sofa, recliner, two color TVs with Comcast cable hookup, The sunroom has 2 twin beds.We are pet lovers. Pet sitting can be arranged. We are ten minutes by boat to Sapelo Sound and the Intercoastal Waterway and the Atlantic Ocean.
The guesthouse is a brick cottage (700 sq.ft.) that is nestled under three-hundred year old live oak trees dripping with Spanish moss and covered with resurrection fern. The private courtyard (432 sq.ft.) surrounded by brick walls, has outdoor seating, gardens, plants, and fountains. This Georgia Barrier Island area is described repeatedly by authors like Eugenia Price. Serenity Place at Pleasure Bluff is a very special paradise not yet discovered by the masses. Peace and serenity abound.
The Serenity Place Dock (fifty five feet long floating dock seventeen feet water at low tide) is on the Julienton River close to the guest house, with a view to the East of the barrier islands and ICW. For your use the upper covered deck has Pawley's Island hammocks, lounge chairs, ceiling fans, rocking chairs, dining table and chairs, and sinks for dock-side cooking.
Enjoy your fresh brewed morning coffee with the sunrise and your evening cocktail with the sunset. You can dock your boat or yacht up to seventy feet long. Water and power hook ups are available. Bring your own boat, kayak, or canoe or arrange for local tours and guides.
Many of Georgia's most famous seafood restaurants are located within minutes of the guesthouse. Sapelo Hammock Eighteen hole Golf Course is one mile from Serenity Place Guesthouse.The golf course is surrounded by nature, wildlife, and views of Sapelo River. Play golf with views of nature and million dollar homes.
