We wanted to tell you what a wonderful week we had at your condo and to ask if there is anything special you want us to do prior to our leaving tomorrow morning. We were so pleased at how clean, well-equipped, and beautifully decorated your condo is. It exceeded our expectations! We loved Tucson too and hope to return. Probably our most memorable experience occurred last evening when we took Oliver for a walk in the neighborhood that adjoins Ventana Vista. We encountered five javelinas trotting down the sidewalk across the street from us. They then proceeded to munch on something (?) in the yards. I must say I was glad I wasn't walking him alone although I realize the odds of them harming us was slim. We just don't see javelinas in Wisconsin!Did you find this review helpful? About the owner: I have been a full and part time resident of Tucson since 2003. I fell in love with the beauty of the desert landscape and enjoy hiking, cycling (road) and riding horses in the desert and mountains surrounding Tucson. This is my second property that I rent. I really believe in a good bed, and hope you enjoy this one!
Why the Owner Chose Sabino Canyon:
The community of Ventana Vista is very special. It is a low density complex with a lot of green space. There are terrific neighbors and it is kept in amazing condition. It is a great place to go to the pool or hot tub and meet new people, enjoy the Pot-Luck Suppers or you can hide away and never see anyone, if you like.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
I enjoy the views out to the mountains from the living area and the patio. I also like the feeling that I am in a courtyard as in the old haciendas of the past. There are neighbors close by so you don't feel isolated, but there is also plenty of privacy.
