Our 7 year young Platinum rated home is full of upgrades and offers a view of the seventh hole from the two porches off the front of our home, and pond view from the rear screened/glassed porch. Following the tradition of our last home at the shore, it is decorated in a tropical fish/beach decor and has been aptly named "Nonnies new fish house" by our now eleven year old grandchild.
Look at all the pictures in this listing and you will see why this is one of the first homes to book early every summer. It is not your typical rental!
You will be welcomed by a first floor front porch with two rocking chairs and glider, to enjoy the view of the seventh hole or just relax with a book. The main level has two master suites, each with a queen-size bed and full private bath. The larger of the two suites features a luxurious bathroom with double vanities, separate shower plus a whirlpool tub. Both bedrooms have a TV with remote, one even features a wall-mounted flat screen TV.
The great room on the main level is where you will enjoy family time. The kitchen is upgraded with top of the line appliances and Corian counters. The kitchen is fully-equipped with everything if you plan to cook, even a waffle maker! In addition, we have a top of the line Weber stainless steel outdoor gas grill connected to the house gas line... so you will never run of of gas or charcoal.
There is seating for eight at the dining area table, plus four stools for the oversize breakfast bar. NOTE---a feature not found in most homes that are the same model is a GLASS/SCREENED PORCH with fan and a separate air conditioning system--this gives you more space and makes a perfect quiet area for reading. This room can still be used as a screened in porch but unlike most screened in porches this room can be used whether it is raining out or sunny! From this porch you can enjoy amazing sunsets or the sounds of nature from the pond behind our home. There is also a patio with outdoor seating.
For those relaxing evenings, you will find a top of the line entertainment system featuring a large Sharp Aquos LCD TV. The area is wired with Bose speakers, and you will find a DVD, VCR and CD player. We have some movies available, but Blockbuster is just minutes away.
On the second level you will find a loft area with bunk beds, and wall-mounted flat screen TV monitor, here you will also find an X Box. There is also a 15 in 1 Harvard Game table for children. The two bedrooms on this level are connected with a "buddy bath" with double vanities and each room has a TV with remote with either VCR or DVD. One room has a double bed and twin-bed, the other room has a king bed--a HUGE closet in this room has a fan and porta crib. This bedroom also features an exit to the second floor porch where you can enjoy an even better view of the golf course. There is seating for four here also, and a small table if you want to enjoy breakfast here! All bedrooms and Great room have ceiling fans with lights.
Our beds are top of the line Sealy Posturepedic Plush box springs and mattresses. These are the same beds used in Ritz Carlton Hotels and they even have labels to prove it!
One of the reasons we chose Bear Trap was to have a serene, laid back community with easy access to the beach. The shuttle runs to downtown Bethany everyday, and the air conditioned buses have room for chairs, coolers, etc.
The well known twenty-seven hole Bear Trap golf course features a luxurious club house, pro shop, and changing areas. The Den in the Club House offers casual dining overlooking the course. For a nominal fee you can use all the outdoor pools plus the indoor pavilion pool area which also features a top of the line gym, hot tub and sauna with changing rooms. Does tennis interest you? You will find that here also. Also a basketball play area along with volleyball in the area next to the Pavillion.
New to the Bethany/Rehobeth Resorts area? Do not miss the tax free shopping at the outlets. Restaurants are close by as well as a grocery store.
If you are traveling with young children/infants we do have 2 Pac and Play Porta cribs, high chair, 2 booster chairs, baby monitor,bouncy chair for your use! We also have a large red wagon with seats for two toddlers/young children--perfect for the one block walk to the pool. There is also a cart to be used behind a bicycle. Plus lots of pool and beach toys for your use. (Please note that the use of these items is at your own risk and bring your own sheets for the Pac and Play.)
You will find Dove and Bath and Body Works products for your use in all the bathrooms and kitchen!
The home will be equipped with staples you may not find in other homes--plastic kitchen trash bags, dishwasher soap, flour, sugar,no calorie sweeteners, salt, pepper and various spices as well as plastic storage bags, foil and plastic wrap, coffee filters--so you will not need to purchase these! Various condiments are also provided in the refrigerator.
There are also beach chairs, umbrellas and various beach chairs also available for your use!
PLEASE NOTE--This is a FRIDAY to FRIDAY rental in season--No exceptions--don't deal with the weekend traffic nightmares and start your vacation on a relaxing note! Off season rental arrival dates will be considered on case by case basis.

You must purchase activity passes to use the beach shuttle, indoor and outdoor pools as well as the gym, sauna, and clubhouse hot tub.

A 50% deposit is required to secure the week. There is also a $250 security deposit which will be returned once the housekeeper has cleaned/inspected the house.

The Unique Benefits at this House
We love the view of the golf course from our two front porches and view of the pond from our sunroom--you will see many of the same model as our home but the sunroom is a fully glass enclosed room which can be used rain or shine--this room is just a great room to read and relax.

We love the beach and when we outgrew our Ocean City condo we bought at Bear Trap--I was a little hesitant and didn't sell the condo right away just in case we weren't happy at Bear Trap--didn't take long to figure out we loved it. We feel lucky to be so close to the October Glory pool--basically a half block away--now that the shuttle stop has moved we are one house away from it. We love our home and know you will also!

We had a wonderful vacation in this home at Bear Trap. It was a comfortable home in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood. Maria was a pleasure to work with and we found every amenity available to us----beach chairs, bicycles, a fully stocked kitchen, a laundry room----too much to list! The shuttle to the beach stops two houses away from this rental and one outdoor pool is close enough to walk to. The property was clean and cozy----we felt like we were in our own home.

We had a superb time staying in this house. Convenient to the pool ... and well laid out for our family (including our three grandbabies!). Well equipped ... and comfortably furnished. When I polled my wife and our three adult children and their spouses about a possible return - all said "Yes" without hesitation. Thanks to the owners for making their beautiful house available!

This was a great house- lots of room, very close to the shuttle stop as well as one of the outdoor pools. Everything we needed for the babies was provided, so no packing extras! The kids all had a great time swimming, hunting for frogs by the pond, and riding in the wagon on walks through the neighborhood. The owners were also very patient with us and answered all of our questions, which we appreciated. Definitely recommend!

We had a great time at your beautiful house. It was big enough for us all to enjoy. The weather was great as well. Loved the neighborhood and the proximity to the one pool. Not to mention the shuttle to the beach. Loved how quiet and family oriented Bethany beach is. And love how you are close to Ocean city MD and Rehoboth beach. Description of house and pictures reflect exactly how the house is. House was very clean. And owners are excellent to deal with. Would highly recommend. Thanks again!!

This house is great for a large family. We have teenagers, a married daughter and son-in-law plus a new grandbaby, so we needed a place that worked for all of us. This house is comfortable, with everything one could possibly need for a week at the beach. We especially enjoyed the bikes with a pull-behind baby trailer and the guys loved the close proximity to the golf course. The pool is a quick walk from the house and we were within a few minutes of grocery stores and shops. We really enjoyed our stay at VRBO #45357!

We had a great time and loved the house. It had everything and more that we could have asked for.The kids loved all the toys, and we even took bike rides with our little one being towed in back and she loved it. We might just have to purchase one for ourselves. We also loved how close your house is to the pool, and spent a lot of time in your sun room. That room was great! Also, my dad loved the margarita maker.
