Our plum island beach home, 'Welcome Aboard' was built new from the foundation up in 2009. It is bright and airy with tall ceilings, a back deck and beautiful wrap around porch - great for relaxing after a day at the beach.
We have three bedrooms on the second floor, all with queen beds. The master has its own en suite with a whirlpool tub and separate large shower. There is another full bath at the top of the stairs with double sinks and a full bath/shower.
Downstair is an office/den off the family room that has a fold out futon queen bed. There is also another full bath on the first floor with corner shower.
Our home is fully equipped with everything you will need for a great vacation!

Description of Property: This is a brand new contemporary house, built in 2009. The house is located on Plum Island Boulevard – one and a half blocks from the beach. Parking is available for 3-4 cars in front of the house (driveway). Our home includes: 3 bedrooms (plus closed den with queen sleeper) Central heat & air conditioning 3 full baths (1 on the first floor) Washer/dryer on second floor Extensive decking around house – porch. Fully equipped kitchen including electric range, full sized refrigerator, dishwasher, toaster, microwave, coffee maker, pots/pans, dishes & silverware, lobster pot and blender. About the owner: Our family is originally from Connecticut but have been living in Newburyport since 1986. We absolutely love the area and stunning beaches, water activities and shipbuilding history of the area.
Why the Owner Chose Plum Island:
We bought this house because of its neat location so close to the beach and up on a little hill. The original house was an old hunting lodge and was in poor condition. In 2008 and 2009 we tore the house down to the foundation and build a brand new 2200 sq ft home.

Just doors down from the Beachcoma' for great casual food and island character and also Plum Island Grille for the perfect up scale evening on the island.
