We loved everything about our stay at this cabin. The place is very clean and all the comforts of home already there. Having three bathrooms is very convenient and the game room is a blast! Very reasonable rates for such a big cabin close the the lake. We came here for a ski trip and was worried about the driving distance between the cabin and the resorts and it ended up being perfect. Very close to McCall so we got to enjoy all the dining and breweries they had to offer then coming back to the peaceful cabin for the evening. We also brought our two small chihuahuas which the cabin has a huge mud/laundry room which was a perfect hang out for the dogs. We thoroughly enjoyed everything about this cabin. Thank you Cindy for such a great stay!

Owner response: I love how the cabin is close enough to all the fun activities but far enough away from all the crowds. One of my families favorite things to do was ski in the morning at Brundage and enjoy Zimm's Hot springs in the afternoon! So glad you enjoyed your stay!!
Beautiful place. We hope to stay again! It was perfect for our family with a bunch of teenagers. We didn't bring the dogs but it would have been great for them too. Maybe next time.

A great place for family to relax and enjoy
A great place for family to relax and enjoy
We had a tremendous three days at the cabin. We arrived and everything we needed was there and the cabin was in tremendous condition. Our two girls loved all the games and space to play, and we enjoyed the pool table and darts as well. This is a great place to stay, secluded, wonderful view and not far from Cascade, highly recommended.

Owner response: Winter time was one of my sons favorite time of year to be at the cabin. If snow is plentiful, I never saw them in the cabin! The little sledding hill right outside the door kept them and their friends entertained for hours. The dryer in the large mud room was constantly going with trying to dry wet clothing while they warmed up with hot cocoa in front of the fireplace before heading back outside again. The toys and games inside also kept them entertained - I loved our family time playing domino's or Apples to Apples or any of the other games we have up there. I'm so glad you and your family had time to relax and enjoy your time!
The cabin is beautiful, immaculate, spacious, & well appointed. Cindy was an excellent hostess. We had a wonderful time & will come again.

Owner response: I'm so pleased you were able to enjoy your stay at the cabin! It's spacious enough to give each individual some personal space, but also small enough to have families enjoy a close bonding time. I look forward to you renting again!!
What a Week
What a Week
We stayed a week at this cabin and loved it. Very private cabin with wonderful view of the valley and very close to the lake. We would come back here in a heart-beat. We had a blast boating, going to the beach, finding hikes, swimming in the hot springs, picking huckleberries. All this fun was only 30-40 minutes away. We also enjoyed the huge & peaceful porch in the evenings. For the past few years, we've rented a cabin/house each summer. This cabin ranks as one of the top spots. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything needed to feed our family of 8. Very very clean and well maintained. The owner is very easy to work with and always responded to phone calls and emails promptly. At first we were worried about 2 things but they turned out fine. The first was the temperature. We were there during a hot week in July so the cabin was very warm that first night (no central air). However, once we opened the windows and ran the fans the house was cool enough in the morning to stay nice into the evening. We didn't end up even using the portable coolers. Our other worry was about how to turn around our boat. The driveway is narrow with larger parking close to the cabin. Once we figured out the parking strategy, the boat was easy to flip around. One unique thing is the loft-style master bedroom. You don't have a door to close which felt weird at first. This was mostly an issue b/c our baby was in the room with us. We ended up putting her in the walk-in closet so we'd have a door we could close.

Owner response: I'm so glad you were able to enjoy the cabin and all the local fun things to do! And what a clever way to use the master walk-in closet! It's certainly large enough for a portable crib in it with room to spare. The evening view of the stars and the morning view of the sun coming up over the horizon from that upper loft is beautiful.

I spent a long weekend here last winter and found it the perfect cabin getaway. The rental is tucked away on the top of a hill, and provides stunning views of the fields and mountains, with its lovely floor to ceiling windows. While there are a handful of cabins nearby, the view is unspoiled by any other homes or buildings, and the 2.5 acre lot gives plenty of privacy from neighbors--you feel secluded both inside the house and out playing in the yard. My favorite part about our stay was the brisk walks outside in the snow. The surrounding scenery is absolutely gorgeous, and it was quiet and peaceful every time we ventured out to take in our surroundings. The roads were cleared for vehicles, and this made it easy for us to walk the short distance to the lake, just down the road. I cannot say enough about the beauty of the snow-covered hills surrounding the frozen lake! It was truly breath-taking, and makes for some great photos. After our chilly walks and playing in the snow, it was fun to curl up in front of one of the fireplaces--upstairs or down--read a book, drink some tea, or enjoy conversation with friends. It's nice to have two main areas for gathering, so if members of a group want to do different things, it's easy to choose a floor and not crowd or displace the other group. The fireplaces make both floors cozy, and there are TVs for movie watching on both floors, as well. The downstairs makes for a great hang-out for kids or teens, with the pool table and other games out and ready for play. The kitchen was well-stocked with dishes and pots and pans, making it easy to cook and enjoy our meals directly at the cabin! This made for some great memories every evening, and a great option for anyone nervous about driving in snow after the sun has gone down. Overall, our stay was wonderful and relaxing, and I plan to stay at this cabin again in the future! Although I do not ski, I know the cabin is quite close to some great ski spots, so perhaps I'll have to try this out on my next trip out. I highly recommend this rental for a relaxing getaway in the mountains, whether it's with a group of friends or a romantic retreat.

I had the opportunity to stay in the glorious mountain home with several friends for a getaway. I will always cherish the memories made. We spent the day outside making snow forts, taking pictures, and enjoying beautiful Cascade. The evenings were perfect for games, movies, hot chocolate etc. The home itself is very nice and has all the necessary amenities and more! I highly recommend it and can't wait to return!

Owner response: The large dining table allows for a great game of domino's (or many of the other games at your disposal)! When the sun goes down, the evening fun is just getting warmed up!
