We just returned from a weeks stay at Serenity Now and this was one of our very best vacations. The home was clean, decorated very well and was such a pleasure to visit. The second and third levels offer a beautiful view of the ocean. The beach is just a short walk away. The area is peaceful and for the most part its secluded. You do have neighbors, but often forget anyone else is even around. If you're looking to get away from all the crowds and hussle and bussle, this is the place for you. We normally visit PCB every year, but after having found Port St Joe and Serentiy Now, this is the place for us. In fact, should our schedule allow we'll be back for another stay later in the year. The owners were also quick to answer emails with any questions we had. We highly recommend Serenity Now, our vacation was complete bliss!

My husband and I spent our honeymoon at this wonderful home six years ago and recently decided to go back for a long weekend. It was even better than I remember. We grilled our lunch in the backyard every day, watched an assortment of available videos in the loft during a few thunderstorms and walked to the beach every day of our stay. The home is pretty special to us and we are already planning on going back for another long weekend this year!! The home is clean, well-maintained and the kitchen is stocked. We absolutely LOVE this place- if you're looking for a relaxing, peaceful getaway- I would definitely recommend this outstanding home!!
Owner response:We are so glad our home can provide you with happy family memories. You are welcome back anytime!

My husband and I took our 3 month old to the beach in the midst of the oil disaster, and it was still amazing!! The beach was so perfect and calm. The water was perfect temperature and we saw dolphins everyday from our balcony while eating lunch. The house was so clean and comfortable, very updated, and there were many movies, books, and games. We ran out of time with all the things the owners had within their home for us to do. We went there to relax and it was beyond perfect! I love to cook and the kitchen had everything you could want. We picked up food from the market daily and enjoyed a drink when getting searfood at the few restaurants that were at this georgous small town. To sum it up, the beaches were picture perfect, and within 20 mins of us getting to the home I logged on to the internet to see when we could come back! Keep supporting this perfect beach destination!

I stayed there for almost a week with my husband, 2 sons and mother-in-law and had a WONDERFUL time!!! The home was immaculate and the views were great. The beach was very close and it was a private area with not a lot of people on the beach which was absolutely perfect and just what we wanted. I would stay there again. It was better than i had thought it would be.

Amazing house! We just left today :( and it was very hard to leave! House is decorated very cute and very comfortable! Amazing view of the ocean, saw many a dolphin just from sitting in the house. Beach is very remote but very clean, as is the house...very impressive. I really enjoyed staying here and was glad to have beat the oil!

All the previous reviews are accurate, clean house, owner's take pride (high end appliances, professional landscaping, etc.) in the home. It's comfortable and relaxing. We live in Florida and have rented many vacation homes, some are so high end that you can't enjoy your stay and others are full of cheap low quality furnishing that you don't want to step on the carpet. Serenity Now was perfectly designed and comfortable. My family really enjoyed our stay and it went by way too quickly.

We spent 2 weeks in April at this home and absolutely loved it! High end furniture and applicances made this vacation feel like a home. We hated to leave. The lawn is professional landscaped, the home is clean and well kept. It's better than a hotel (and cheaper) and my children really enjoyed themselves. Highly recommend this home. We are trying to get back for next year. It books quickly.

We stayed in this fantastic and modern house for a week. It was just as described in the add and since we arrived very late in the day the rental agency had left the key out for us and we could just return the next day to fill out the forms ect. I guess when you are travelling at this time of year you won't be staying a lot inside the house; you would rather explore the beautiful surroundings and the beaches. The beach just outside the house is just pristine; the kids went bodysurfing and playing for hours every day - and you have it almost all to yourself. For sightseeing in the area we can recomend: canoing in Tates Hell (we saw a small gator!). Sea kayaking, snorkeling and barbequeing at Cape San Blas. The restaurants in Apalachicola are fantastic (especially Owls Café) - and so is Indian Pass Raw Bar - which is just a few miles down the street. But since our youngest is only 4 he was a little more jetlagged than the rest of us and needed a nap sometime during the day - we spend many afternoons in the house playing games, reading og just sitting on the balcony with a glass of cold white wine enjoying the view of the bayou. If it wasn't so far from Denmark we would definately be coming back soon !!

My family enjoyed this home quite a bit, it has high end decorations and cooking supplies (nothing cheap), quality furniture, which really makes a difference, it's truly a 'home'. The views are amazing, the house is spotless, the owner's keep it in great shape. We have rented 2 years in a row and plan on coming back next year, you can't beat the price. The beach is lovely and is a short walk from the house (3 minutes). Highly recommend.
Owner response:Jamie, thanks for the great review. We are truly glad you had a peaceful and relaxing vacation at our home (again). You are welcome back anytime!

This home made our beach vacation wonderful. It had everything we needed. Our kids loved the loft. The beach there is lovely and it is not at all busy, usually no more than a couple other families out in the entire area. Lots of sea life as well; we saw dolphins, blue crabs, cochinas and even a hummingbird. Relaxing, fun, and reasonably priced.
