About: We purchased this house in Lake Harmony Estates in 2012 after many years of vacationing in the Lake Harmony Area. We love the area for all it has to offer. It is also close enough to our primary residence in New Castle, DE to enjoy it during the weekends.
Why Lake Harmony:
We love the outdoors and the tranquility of the area. It's great sharing the house with our family and friends and wanted to extend the enjoyment to others. We like returning to the house after a day of hiking in Hickory Run State Park, biking the rails to trails, fishing, or spending the afternoon at the Lake Harmony beach.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
We enjoy watching the deer, turkey, and other wildlife in the wooded back yard from the sunroom. The location is close to state parks, the Lehigh River, Big Boulder and Jack Frost Ski areas, Split Rock Resort, casinos, the town of Jim Thorpe, and other attractions. The areas provide opportunities for hiking, biking, water sports, swimming, fishing, skiing, snowboarding, tubing, shopping, gambling, and much more.
