It would be impossible to adequately praise this very comfortable and lovely retreat home nestled into beautiful woods with a gently flowing creek tucked in behind. The bedrooms were very comfortable (with a lovely en suite Master Bath complete with a walk-in shower), the kitchen well equipped, and the living room welcoming and restful. The property is sufficiently far off the beaten track that one feels a sense of retreat, but is nonetheless close enough to Kallispell and Whitefish for great shopping and all of the wonderful points of exploration in the area, from Glacier Natl Park to the fabulous Flathead Lake. The owners are just incredibly gracious people who did far more than was necessary to help us settle in, discover this beautiful part of the country, and enjoy a much-needed respite. We can't wait to come back and enjoy such beauty again. Little phone coverage and no wifi or cable/satellite TV might prove to be an inconvenience to some. To us, these were part of our break and we appreciated these 'features' too. For those looking to explore this part of Montana, we can't think of a more restful, beautiful, and central spot from which to begin your great adventure. Enjoy!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children.
Owner response: Thank-you for your kind words! We are so glad you enjoyed your stay, and we enjoyed having you! One change we are making is to hook up the internet for the coming travel season.
