The cabin has been equipped with many family-friendly items to make sure your stay is comfortable and enjoyable. Whether you want to soak in our brand-new jacuzzi tub overlooking the mountains, or sit outside by our new, stone-built, campfire ring and roast marshmallows, Vista View is the cabin for you.
Our two-bedroom, two-bath cabin has two queen-size beds and one queen size pull out couch. Our cabin comes fully equipped with a full-size kitchen, TV with satellite in two rooms as well as a DVD, VCR in the living room and bedroom. We have stocked the cabin with a pak-n-play, highchair, baby gate, and outdoor swing. Our secluded cabin has been furnished with new rustic decor throughout.All detergent, paper products and we now have high speed internet with wireless router!
Whether you want to experience all of the adventure the North Georgia Mountains has to offer, or if you are looking for a relaxing private getaway in the mountains, this is the place for you!

Why the Owner Chose Blairsville
We chose our home in Blairsville because it was in the middle of three states, we could go 15 minutes and be in North Carolina, or go 20 minutes into Tennessee, or go another 40 minutes and be near Helen and Hiawassee. We love the feeling of being out in nature but yet close enough to enjoy the modern amenities of life.
The Unique Benefits at this Cabin
As soon as our car makes it way up the driveway , I always forget how amazing our mountain view is! Sometimes a deer will run across the road as we are driving up to our home. I love the fresh smell of the pine interior. We love to sit in the hot tub at night and watch the constellations. We usually go into town and have lunch at cider house cafe. Sarah loves to go play games at papas pizza to go. Then we will find a hike to go see a new waterfall or schedule a horse back ride at one of our favorite stables. In the summer we raft down the nantahala.I love to come home after a day of hiking, pour a glass of Biltmore wine and curl up with a good book or watch one of the movies I haven't had a chance to watch at home. I will occasionally go online and check my email , but most of the time I forget about life and just relax and enjoy the view
Owner's Map of Blairsville
Dan and I got married in Blue Ridge Georgia in 1996. We eloped the Helping Hands chapel on Valentines Day. The people of Blue Ridge had never met us before but extended the warmest of greeting and the most random of kindness by giving us a 'ready made" wedding with flowers, cake and a beautiful ceremony. From that moment on we fell in love with the North Georgia Mountains. We love to hike the waterfalls, go to the apple orchards and every year we come and cut down our christmas tree on Thanksgiving. Now our daughter Sarah who is 7 cannot wait to come to her " second home" She loves to read what past guests have written and she is always happy to find the toys she has left for other children to play with right back in their spots. We have been blessed with wonderful rentors these past five years and hope to continue renting out our home for others to enjoy for many years to come.

Dear Dan, Laurie and Sarah, We've been staying in the North Georgia mountains for ten years and found your cabin one of the most private, scenic and well appointed cabins we have stayed in. Our stay was relaxed and timed perfectly with the changing colors. The dogs enjoyed the open space and the fire pit. I appreciate the pet and child friendly atmosphere.
