  Put simply, we could not have found a better property. Condo Farallon was exactly what we wanted. We are a group of four ~30 year old professionals (three males, one female) and had an amazing week staying at the property. Furthermore, a group of friends of us also staying in the area for the week were incredibly jealous of us for having the place that we did. I think that Condo Farallon is the perfect type of property for nearly anyone: groups of friends like ours, groups of couples, families, etc. In regards to the condo itself, Condo Farallon is as comfortable, and really, luxurious, a condo as one can find. The main living room opens to the balcony (hammock and 4 chairs) and looks out onto a few blocks of town, the ocean, and the cliffs. The master bedroom does the same, from one floor higher, and is huge. The 2nd bedroom overlooks the pool out back and is a huge room as well. The 2nd living room has a large flat screen TV. The kitchen is large, open, and filled with everything you might need to cook if you feel inclined. Clearly, we had excessive room with 4 people. You really could fit 7 people comfortably in the place. Ana (the housekeeper) was extremely nice and did a great job. We even hired her to cook dinner for us one night and do our laundry at the end of the trip. In terms of location, Condo Farallon could not be in a better one. It is in the heart of SJDS - which is where you want to be located if you enjoy dining at restaurants, relaxing in coffeeshops, going out at night, or going on cruises or excursions leaving from SJDS. A group of our friends stayed at Playa Madera for the week and they wished that they had stayed in downtown SJDS. (Staying at Playa Madera probably makes sense if surfing is your primary goal, as the drive from SJDS to Playa Madera is about 25 minutes, primarily on a rocky dirt road.) You don't need a car if you stay at Condo Farallon; we had one and only used it to go to Playa Madera and to visit a volcano 2 hours away. As far as security goes, Condo Farallon could not be safer - it has a locked gate that is manned by an alert guard 24/7. Also to note, the property manager (based in Canada) is incredibly responsive to emails and phone calls and I felt very secure renting the property from her. I will definitely be saving this link to pass on to friends of mine who visit SJDS in the future. I hope that you rent Condo Farallon and also get to have an amazing week there!

  Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

  The condo was beautiful, perfectly located, and exactly what my friends and I wanted for our week in San Juan del Sur. The ocean views were fantastic and you can't beat watching sunsets every night from the large balcony. The on-site staff was very nice and helpful. I might suggest earplugs for sleeping as the local bars and roosters can be heard from the bedrooms. Wish I was still there....

  Condo Faralllon is absolutely perfect! My boyfriend and I stayed here for a week and we could not have asked for a more ideal place. The condo itself is gorgeous. It is spacious and comfortable, with many areas to sit, relax, and enjoy the stunning views. The pool is wonderful and was a nice alternative to spending the day at the beach when we wanted to just hang out. We were impressed by the 24-hour staff and security who made us feel extremely safe and who were always available to assist us. The location of the condo is also exceptional. It is rare to find such luxurious accommodation right in the centre of San Juan del Sur, so we felt very lucky to have found this place. Regarding the noise in the master bedroom - although we did occasionally hear music from the town, it didn't bother either of us (we are, however, good sleepers). Laura was very kind and helpful and even checked in with us when we arrived to make sure everything was going smoothly. Overall, we LOVED our stay and hope to return very soon!

  This place is incredible! It has the best view in town! The location is great and it is in the vicinity of restaurants, the beach and activities. The condo is very spacious. I highly recommend this condo if you are looking to stay in San Juan del Sur(f).

  The condo was beautiful and my kids (4 & 6 yrs old) felt right at home, at the end of our journey in Nicaragua we were inclined to stay even longer, just because of how beautiful this place is. The hot water and no electrical disruptions were definitely nice (as per Nica standards). We were the only people booked there, so we had the pool to ourselves and my kids felt indeed right at home playing with wild abandon hide-and-seek with their grandma, catching little frogs at night and feeling like we weren't disturbing anyone. The location was perfectly walkable (which worked well with our carless travel)

  Desiree and her assistant Laura made this trip incredibly relaxing and memorable for us. The place, and view, were incredible and as described. The information and friendly service rivaled some of the best hotels. I felt comfortable from the moment that I made the transaction. The onsite staff, security and cleaning, were charming and welcoming and made the place feel truly like home. By the end, neither of us wanted to leave. I would highly recommend the property for anyone considering a stay in SJDS based on the quality of the place, the view,proximity to town (literally steps), the view, and especially all of the people that made this a great stay
