The photos and location were accurately described. The villa was very clean and all appliances were in working order. I thought the rooms were tastefully decorated and furniture was comfortable! I particularly liked the location as it was within walking distance of the tennis courts and golf course--10 minutes. I looked forward to a relaxing 20 minutes in the hot tub after a day's work-out. Oh yes, many mornings the women in Avista Drive gathered for water aerobics in the pool. The owner could not have been more helpful in suggesting restaurants, theater, museums or music events in and around Sarasota. I highly recommend the villa for an individual, couple or family.Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, families with young children.

We thoroughly enjoyed a month stay here, and can verify the description and condition of the property as totally acurate and outstanding- exceptionally clean, well maintained, and tastefully decorated. The views and environment are wonderful and access to Sarasota's cultural and entertainment arenas are excellent. Delightfull wildlife viewing onto the golf course- particularly the baby Sand Cranes! The complex is safe, private, quiet, and friendly- a healing and enjoyable environment. We would heartily recommend this condo to family and friends.Recommended for: Age 55+, people with disabilities, sightseeing, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

Rates
Minimum rental period of one month during the high season. The rental rate is $3,000 for one month. A three months rental period is preferred. The rental rate is $2,500/month for two or more months. One month's rent security deposit is required. Tourist and sales taxes of 11% total not included. Electricity costs of up to $100/month are included. Overages will be deducted from the security deposit. The low season rate for May - September is $1,500/month. Yearly leases are available.

About the owner: I'm a retired professional, world traveler, bridge player and adequate golfer. I live across Whitfield Ave. with Dan, whom I met two years ago through a mutual friend in Sarasota.
Why the Owner Chose Palm Aire:
I purchased the villa before the financial crisis hit the housing market, while visiting a long term friend who lives 5 doors away. I came down for New Year's, and stayed for about a week. I met many of her friends and told her that everyone seemed so happy here, and that if I had a place here in Palm Aire I would look forward to retirement. She replied: 'so what's not to like?' I signed the purchase contract before returning north. Buying my villa was the best move I ever made! Palm Aire Country Club is a significant source of pleasure for me - there's golf, restaurants with great food, and a wide variety of social offerings. Friendly members helped to sell me on living here, and the club continues to provide many friends and a rich social life - on and off the golf course.
