This is a Friday to Friday rental. This low-country, traditional style home is designed for private relaxing, located on a very quiet ocean street. Home offers high-speed wireless internet, several reading nooks, hammocks, porch swings and rockers on a wrap-around porch to catch the ocean breezes. Downstairs bedrooms open onto the porch. Upstairs master bedroom opens onto a balcony with ocean views. Ceiling fans in all bedrooms, living room and dining area. Carolina room located off kitchen. Features a wood burning fireplace, 3 cable TVs, 2 DVD/VCRs, music system, microwave, washer/dryer, dishwasher, refrigerator with ice in the door, heat pumps, outside hot/cold shower for rinsing off beach sands.

We were going to be working in Georgetown for a few weeks for a large project and were lucky enough to rent this house for most of March and a week in April. It is a great location right at the beach. Very relaxing and quiet. The house has everything that you would need. Beautiful front porch with hammocks and rocking chairs which were great to wind down some of the long days we had. The wildlife in the community is amazing. We saw turkeys everyday, an alligator, and deer everywhere (even in the yard a few days) I would highly recommend this house to anyone who wants a true beach vacation. Close to Pawleys and Georgetown restaurants and plenty of outdoor activities.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway.

We would like to thank the owners of this beautiful house for sharing their treasure with other families. This house in it’s location, is just so relaxing. The description given of the house pretty much explains the house accurately. However this does not give the feeling this house gives of being a home and not just a rental. It is great for whatever you are looking for in a vacation, no matter what stage of life you are in. Whether it be hiking, biking (provided), taking in nature, photography, golfing, tennis, shopping, walking or sitting on the beech, shelling, just relaxing at the house in the 2 hammocks, swinging on the porch bench or rockers, it is just spectacular. There are plenty of great places to eat nearby, and plenty of great little stores in nearby towns. We would suggest this house to all our family and friends, and hope we can work in another visit ourselves in the future. We stayed quite some time, and just did not want to leave this home.Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway.

The included description of this home is spot-on: "... private, quiet, safe, family-oriented and relaxing." It works its magic on you within hours of arriving, and the rest of the world quietly slips out of your mind. The property is just as the photos show: clean and comfortable, and the surrounding area is also a photographer's and nature lover's paradise. We've stayed here several times, and the wonderful scenery makes my photos look like they were made by a pro. You can play in the surf (the beach seems like your private island), walk on the beach, ride bikes, or (my favorite) sleep in a hammock. Still you can reach great restaurants going north or south in 20 to 30 minutes, and it's great golf country, too. Also, if you just have to, the wi-fi will let you keep up with your email and the outside world -- but I recommend against it!Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway.
