Our comfortable and inviting home is located approximately two miles from Graeagle, near the Feather River and the Plumas Pines Golf Course. It is surrounded by beautiful pine trees and has a large fenced backyard. We accept some pets on prior approval and there is a pet door out to the backyard.
The home is on a large lot and has an oversized garage (with pool table and ping pong table), so there is plenty of room for parking. The amenities include a fully-equipped kitchen and all linens, towels, etc. The home has beautiful knotty pine walls and wall-to-wall carpeting. Two of the bedrooms are furnished with a queen size bed and the third bedroom has a full size bed. A queen sofa-sleeper is also available. You can relax and enjoy the mountain view from the comfortable deck overlooking the backyard; there is a BBQ grill available for your use, too. There is also a smaller deck off the master bedroom at the front of the house. The home is just minutes away from several world-class golf courses, the Lakes Basin National Recreation Area (fishing, boating, etc.), Plumas Eureka State Park, and the historic mining town of Johnsville. The area has miles of hiking and biking trails and many back roads for four-wheel drive SUV adventures. Graeagle has many quaint shops, nice restaurants, and a great little pond area where you can rent paddleboats in the summertime. Reno is just a short one hour drive away, as is the Lake Tahoe area.
You can come to Plumas County for a relaxing week or weekend away anytime of the year. There are activities and special events year-round, but summertime is especially inviting. Some upcoming events in the area are the Annual Graeagle Kids Fishing Derby (May 15), the Lake Davis Fishing Derby (June 19), the Father's Day Fly-In & Crawfish Festival (June 20), and the High Sierra Music Festival (Quincy, July 1-4). During the summer, Concerts at the Millpond are held on Wednesday evenings. There are great celebrations, parades, and fireworks going on for the July 4th Independence Day weekend. The Annual Gold Digger Days Celebration in Greenville is July 17th and Gold Discovery Days at the Plumas Eureka State Park is July 17/18. The Graeagle Arts and Crafts Fairs are on the July 17/18 and August 21/22 weekends this year and the Plumas Sierra County Fair in Quincy will be August 11-15th. Portola Railroad Days will be held August 19-22 this year and that is always a fun event! Graeagle will have its Antique and Collectibles Fair on Sept. 3-5 and on Sept 10/11th the Annual Street Rod Extravaganza (Car Show, Poker Run/Walk) is in Chester. In October the Mountain Harvest Festival Micro Brew Tasting will be held at the Plumas-Sierra County Fairgrounds. There are several golf tournaments, art shows, car races, free concerts, and tons of other events scheduled in the next few months. WEEKLY RATE..$775/week. 2-29 days - Rates Available.
Holiday periods may have an additional fee.

$1150/week up to four people, $100/wk each add'l person.
Plus $75 Cleaning Fee and $200 Refundable Deposit.

My family and I stayed here for Thanksgiving weekend this year and four years ago. Loved it back then and still loved it this time. It's such a cozy, yet roomy cabin and the kitchen is the best equipped of any rental we have ever stayed in. We love the pool table and ping pong table, great family fun! And the dogs loved the doggy door! Beautiful neighborhood to walk in and close to great hiking and mountain biking. Thank you Nancy and Tom!! We will definitely stay here again.

My husband and I have rented VRBO homes many times, in this and three other countries, and we have never stayed anywhere that was as well equiped. The house is very comfortable, the views lovely and the fenced back yard was perfect for our Bischons to explore. The owners are very accomodating and we are already looking forward to our next trip to this lovely, quiet retreat.

My family and I recently spent the weekend at your rental and had a wonderful time. My brother, son and I golfed both days at beautiful golf courses within minutes of your home. Our spouses/girlfriend enjoyed the little shops in Graeagle, exploring the area around Graeagle and Plumas Pines and relaxing in your comfortable vacation home. We prepared breakfasts and lunches in the well equiped kitchen and in the evening we enjoyed great restaurants in the area. We also took advatage of your pool table downstairs, something we haven't done in years. Your rental was very clean and had all of the comforts of home. We hope to be able to come back, maybe for a week, next year.

This comfortable cabin has everything you need for a relaxing vacation. The rooms are spacious, decorations add to the ambience and the kitchen is well appointed. We enjoyed eating out on the deck, bicycling through the neighborhood and easy access to Graeagle, Lake Davis and Johnsville. It was very easy to make arrangements with the owner. We’d definitely stay here again.

My review is long overdue! My husband and I stayed in this home in October for 3 nights. What a great house and a great time to be in Graeagle! We had beautiful weather and the house was perfect. I wish I had the same kitchen at home! You don't have to bring a thing, Nancy has thought of everything you could possible need. We also met really nice neighbors on our evening walks with our dog. Will most certainly stay there again. Bringing the whole family next time! Also, our deposit was refunded within 7 days, that doesn't always happen. Thanks Tom and Nancy

Our family stayed at this lovely house this summer. We had three familes 2 dogs and a toddler. The house was great for every one. The owners were promt about everthing. Can't say enough except we will probably stay there again

Wow, what a great house! Everything you might need. We had two trucks with boats and there was plenty of parking area left open. We took the short drive to the area lakes and golf courses which we enjoyed immensely. Nancy was a joy to talk to!

This house is extremely comfortable, well equipped and in a very convenient location. We stayed there while our son was at soccer camp and had a wonderful time. My only suggestion is that the large knives in the kitchen could use sharpening!

We found Tom & Nancy's home to be perfect for our family and my neice's family. The layout was great with a pool table & ping pong table in the garage, a fenced backyard for the dog's to hang out in, and every amenity we needed inside the house. A short walk down to the river made the dogs very happy & the kids loved riding their bikes all around. Tom & Nancy are so accommodating and, truly, just want folks to enjoy their mountain home...and we did!
