A unique, contemporary, 15-sided (nearly circular), calm and beautiful home on five acres in the woods of Woodstock. Entering into this tranquil environment, one feels the deep peace and harmony that immediately relaxes anyone upon entering a home that has consistently healed, soothed and comforted the stressed. Here is a perfect place for writers, artists, and meditators; romance for lovers; and unspoiled nature for those who enjoy the outdoors.
The main floor includes an open plan (easy for entertaining), kitchen (fully-equipped), dining room, and living room with fireplace, as well as a wrap-around deck. It also includes two bedrooms and tiled bath with soaking tub. There are five skylights in the upper floor. The downstairs has a separate master bedroom looking out into pristine woods and tiled bath with glass-walled shower.
The casual decor has many Asian and African objects d’art and an extensive library of fiction and non-fiction, including yoga, Buddhism, and theater. There is a high-speed internet and a four-in-one printer. A VCR with over 600 movies on videotape, a DVD player, a flat screen TV, a music system containing both classical and popular music are included.
Walk out of your door into miles and miles of untouched forest or jump in a car, train or bus and in two hours you are in the heart of New York City. It is less than a ten-minute drive to the varied and culture-rich town of Woodstock.
