A large kitchen and nook area complete with stainless steel appliances including a double oven and 4 burner stove at large center island. There is a laundry room off the kitchen. Located just off the pool/spa is a built in Bar-b-que and 2 sets of patio furnishings. The garage will accomodate 2 cars and a Golf cart. The entire house sits on a 12,000 square foot lot. We just returned to the snow after a week in this beautiful house in the desert. The home was perfect for what we needed. We had enough room to spread out and enjoy each other as well as have some quiet time on our own. We spent time at the pool and enjoyed the hot tub as well. The home was very clean and we had everything we needed to pack lunches and head to the Tennis Center. Stephan the owner was amazing, he met us at the house upon check in and gave us the grand tour, showing us how to turn on the hot tub and how to correctly run the television remote (priceless). We had a great time and hope to return to this desert paradise again for years to come! Thanks Stephan!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

About the owner: I was born and raised in Southern California. Grew up in the San Gabriel Valley graduating from Mak Keppel High School. Moved to Orange County in the early 80's.While living in the OC I spent many weekends in the Palm Springs area. I hoped one day to retire there since I'm an avid Golfer. Palm desert is the best place to live for the money and one of the most outstanding locations to vacation because it is central to many activities.
Why the Owner Chose Private Homes, Avondale Country Club:
I played Avondale Golf Glub over 25 years ago. At the time the course boasted bent grass greens, perhaps the best grass you can putt on. The course was and is a test of one's shot making abilities. I fell in love with the course. Over the years and many visits to the Golf Club I was fortunate to meet the previous owners. I kept in touch through out the years and in 2003 I was approached about purchasing the property and I did. The rest is wonderful history. I'm both proud and happy to share this home with my family and friends.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
After golf one day I was invited over for a drink by the previous owner. I always saw the house from the back. I remembered noticing how long the house was end to end. upon entering I immediately was struck by the openness of the great room, the large wetbar and the view of the golf course directly beyond the 2 large windows. Thought I died and went to golfers heaven. The location and layout was primarily why I fell in love with this house.
