Linden Beach Chalet is an oasis from the norm with everything you need to create your perfect vacation whether you come for family fun, friends’ reunion, a romantic couple’s weekend or a solo retreat. The chalet is wonderfully private. It has its own pond located on 6 acres of woods and prairie. This chalet offers a secluded space within the larger resort of Innsbrook with its 100 lakes and over 8,000 wooded acres that include trails, stables, golf, restaurant, tennis courts, pool and more.
The privacy begins with a beautiful driveway through arching trees to the fully equipped and newly decorated A-frame chalet. The inviting layout features wood paneling that gives it a warm cabin feel. The large central living room has a soaring A-frame ceiling, a stacked-stone, gas-burning fireplace, open kitchen and dining area, and a screened-in porch. The main floor offers 2 separate master suites, each with a king bed. The loft area has 2 additional bedrooms, a full bath, and a comfortable living room for enjoying cable tv, Wii games, Netflix, Pandora, stereo radio and BluRay disc player.
Maximum number of guests = 8 (adults + children)
Contact us regarding extra guest fees (maximum extra = 2, for a total of 10 guests) and pet fees (dogs only, maximum of 2).

My husband and I stayed at this chalet last weekend, and it is by far my husband's favorite. The secluded atmosphere was great, as was the hot tub. My favorite thing was the beds. Not just the beds themselves but the bedding. It was all first class. That's usually where rentals fall short, in my opinion. Having a rustic environment with top of the line hotel bedding is definitely my thing! The other thing I noticed were the details, from the speakers to the ceiling fans to the screened porch fountain. Even the kitchen had tools/items other chalets do not. Oh, and when my husband locked us out of the chalet the owners were quick to get us back in with the spare they keep hidden away. Bravo! My husband's only complaint was that we didn't stay longer. :)Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

I have already told many friends THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO and its so close to home. Impeccable home with serene interior so as not to distract from the outside I assure you that you will not be disappointed. This is the perfect place for a getaway. The hot tub was amazing! It had several delicious ways in which to sit and recline and the views of the woods, beach, lake and chalet were so relaxing. The house has a clean spa like interior with more than enough space for a group of people. There are plenty of games available and the resort itself has a lot to offer. However, a morning brunch and an afternoon on the deck were all I needed to unwind and have a great weekend with friends. The directions were clear and getting to and from the Chalet was easier than I expected from St. Louis.Recommended for: Sightseeing, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

We spent 2 nights at this fantastic place. The property was private and surrounded by beautiful trees, the fire pit was perfect for chilly spring evenings, the hot tub was clean and so nice to be in, the deck was fantastic and the frogs on the pond lulled us to sleep at night. And the cabin! It was like staying in someones very clean, cozy and well-stocked home! The beds and bedding were superb, we had absolutely everything we could need in the kitchen (including spices)! And there was charcoal available for the grill! I cannot wait to stay here again.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

A perfect house with in a very pretty location. You certainly feel away from the city here. I was particularly impressed with how beautiful and modern the whole house was - from the hot tub on the deck, the kitchen, couches, television and the extremely comfortable beds. I would certainly stay here again if given the chance.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with young children.

Therese went out of her way to accommodate our party and make sure that we were well taken care of! Thank you for making your home open to us. We had a terrific time and loved your property. The beautiful chalet is actually even more impressive than the photos would suggest. I've been there only 2 days but, I wish I could stay at least one week! Everything is better than it looks in the pictures. The house is big, clean, cozy, very confortable, and bright, with wonderful windows and amazing view. I loved the hot tub, and you don't have neighbors around! Kayaking on the lake was my favorite activity. Therese and Steve are very nice people and they really take care of the house. I really recommend this place to everybody!Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children.

No smoking inside the house, on the screened porch, on the kitchen porch or on the deck. Smoking is allowed at the far end of the beach only, near the beach toy storage bin. Please collect used cigarette butts and dispose of in the trash, not in the beach, woods or lake. DOGS: Well-behaved dogs are permitted with advance permission and payment of pet fee = $25 per night, maximum 2 dogs. AGE: Minimum rental age is 25. DAMAGES: Renter must reimburse for all damages to unit or its contents, or to kayaks, beyond normal wear and tear and for charges incurred due to pets or collection services. KEYS: Keys and flashlight keychain must be left on porch railing hook on final departure. PAYMENT: 50% of total rent and fees is required to reserve the date; balance and all fees are due 30 days before arrival. Receipt of payment confirms your reservation. CANCELLATIONS: 30 days required for cancellation with full refund less $75 processing fee. No refund for cancellations less than 30 days or for shortened stays after arrival. About the owner: We are a couple of coastal transplants to the Midwest. Therese landed in St Louis from the East Coast, (New York City) and Steve found himself here from the West Coast, (San Diego.) We met in St Louis and share interests in the restaurants, museums, sports, shopping, architecture, and other attractions of this wonderful city. We have been avid travelers using VRBO for the past five years. We are excited to now be able to share our own vacation home with others.
Why the Owner Chose Innsbrook:
We first started coming to Innsbrook in 2010. We discovered this wonderful place through VRBO. After our first tranquil week in the woods, seeing the July 4th fireworks over the lake, and enjoying the golf and horses, we were hooked. Living in the heart of St Louis City, we enjoy an urban lifestyle. Yet, we found more and more reasons to escape to Innsbrook in all seasons. We stayed at the many different chalets and houses that are offered through VRBO until one day, we found this chalet and fell in love with it. We hope you will enjoy our private magical resort within the larger beautiful resort of Innsbrook as much as we do.
