Wonderful NEW 3 story home in beautiful Frangista Beach. Located in the heart of all that Destin has to offer. The new Destin Commons Mall and Silver Sands Outlet Stores are minutes away. There are great views from our private balconies, and a one minute walk to private Frangista Beach.( private access )
All of the rooms in this home open to large balconies overlooking the beautiful pool (can be heated for a fee), your own, screened in, private beach volleyball court, and all of Frangista Beach. All living areas are finished with beautiful stone flooring, and have new furnishings.
The top floor has two full master suites with king sized beds, each with its'own master bath featuring stone floors and shower. Both have whirlpool tubs.The balconies from these bedrooms offer views to the Gulf.
This floor also has a separate area with tv, chairs, and a sleeper sofa and roll-away beds.
The middle floor has another master bedroom with a private bath. The kitchen, breakfast area, wet bar and family room are on this floor, and this balcony overlooks the pool and volleyball court. There is also a half bath on this floor.
All rooms have tvs and dvds, but the family room is equiped with a large plasma screen tv mounted on the wall with surround sound. In the family room there is also a wet bar. On the bottom floor there are two more bedrooms and another bath. The full sized laundry room and two car garage are also on this floor.
Tell the kids to bring their favorite video games because we have Playstation 2, Game Cube, and X-Box available.There are plenty of tvs dvd players to keep everyone occupied in the rare event of a less than perfect weather day.
The pool is 15'x32', and can be heated for an additional fee.The screened-in volleyball court/badmitten court, doubles as a huge sand box for the younger ones. They can safley stay busy building sand castles while you relax at the pool. Or how about a game of horseshoes in the Horseshoe pit?

This house had good and bad points. First the positives: It is plenty big, the pool, volleyball and horseshoe pit is wonderful and it had a great working grill. There was also plenty of silverware, glasses and dishes. The negatives: The rental company only left 2 towels in each bathroom. The house is supposed to sleep 12-18, we should have had at least enough towels for each person to shower. Also, each bathroom had a plunger in it--bad sign! Yes, the toilets overflowed regularly and the house smelled of urine upon arrival. The crib shown in the pictures was not put together and was missing parts and there was not a high chair in the residence. Upon arriving, my husband and son had to put the crib together and it was missing parts. When we called Southern Vacation Rentals, they brought us a high chair and said they would note the crib was missing parts so we would not be charged for damages--not exactly the way we wanted to start off our vacation. Also, there was absolutely nothing in the cabinets like salt or pepper and only one roll of toilet paper was in each bathroom, so we immediately had to go to the store. This is my 4th house I have rented for a family vacation and in all other rentals we at a minimum, had salt and pepper in the house upon arrival. This felt more like a camping trip than a luxury vacation. Also, all the beds are hard as a rock--I'm not kidding!!! Hard, Hard, Hard! So the conclusion is this--the house is plenty big and close to the beach, but bring all of your supplies including towels, washcloths, toilet paper, dish towels, etc. Also, there is only one chaise lounger at the pool, the other one is broken, although there are plenty of chairs and tables. Also, the sound on the T.V. would not work for local channels. I'm sure this could have been fixed but we did not report this and there are no games for any of the game systems advertised in the listing. So kids bring your own.Did you find this review helpful? The Villa Capri offered us the most perfect vacation ever. The house was even better than the pictures. The biggest surprise was how large the kitchen was and how many and how roomy the porches were. The beach was literally seconds away - no problem at all to run back and get snacks, etc. There were more dishes and glasses than we could have ever needed, the volleyball court and horseshoe pits were so much fun, and the pool was wonderful. There was loads of outdoor furniture for eating or just enjoying sitting and visiting. Other pluses were being able to unload in the garage as it was raining when we arrived and the separate ice machine with small cubes. It was just a great house. The owner was very involved and interested in having things go well, even calling to check on us. It was just great! What a beautiful home. There were 12 of us staying in the house and we had plenty of room. The gorgeous gourmet kitchen is very well stocked for this many guests. No expense has been spared on furnishings and the pool, volleyball court and horseshoe pit should keep anyone occupied. We would definitely stay here again!!
