Bring along your cooking and baking skills to prepare meals in the deluxe executive chef style kitchen with a large center island and utility sink. An extensive amount of cookware, utinsils and complimentary spices await you. The gas fire place can be seen from kitchen to living and dining areas. The lake view is gorgeous.!. A 40 inch flat screen TV w/ DVD and VCR player along with 100 + movies are provided for viewing. Two of the four spacious bedrooms include queen size beds, dressers, and double closets. The loft which can be used as a bedroom has 3 single pull out beds from new love seat sofas. Also there is a leather trundle which is very comfy as well. The Spacious main floor bedroom has its own TV with VCR and DVD player. A private bathroom with a large claw foot tub. The second bathroon has a spacious ceramic tile shower with lots of room. An attached laundry room is available for your convenience with modern WD and detergents at no charge to guest. The 16 ft by 32 ft loft may be used as a bedroom or gathering place for games, socializing or just to relaxe. This exceptionally spacious lodge/cabin can easily accomodate up to 10 aduts and 2 small children comfortably in beds. (Note: Extra charges apply for parties over 8 guest in the main cabin.( $ 15.00 each person per day. See rates) There's a gas grill on the back patio for BBQ's. Relaxe on the dock with sitting bench during the summer season is pure enjoyment for leisure lake activities and your early morning coffee. Enjoy a game of badmitten in the backyard. Equipment is provided. This quaint resort has 8 acres of gorgeous 100 foot pines, poplar and birch trees. 400 feet of lakeshore with a small swimming beach. 250 acres of public land abuts the property and has an exceptional forest to venture into for the nature enthusiast. (Bring a compass along please.). Big Mcarthy and Third Sucker are the nearest lakes with DNR Boat launches.
Two canoes are available to rent., (one with a transom for an elec. trolling motor), paddles and life jackeets are included. ( Canoe rentals are $ 8.00 per day each. $ 15.00 per day with elec. trolling motor). The limit on pets are two dogs only and need to be approved by owner. Thank you for calling.

The place was picturesque and very relaxing. We had multiple sitings of trumpeter swans, deer and eagles. A well appointed, clean large cabin with stylish furnishings and lots of comfort.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

The Spotted Eagle Lodge is a great getaway spot to get relaxed. Spacious, private and the abundance of amenities is appreciated. The kitchen is superb. Nothing was left out. It really doesn't get much better than this. All was very clean, cozy and relaxing. We will definitely come back here on our next vacation to northern Minnesota. Absolutely a 5 star resort. We spent a weekend, along with our pup, at the Spotted Eagle Lodge. Our main goal was to relax and we did just that! Our weekend was full of cooking, reading, snowshoeing, napping, hanging by the fire, sipping coffee and much more! The scenery is amazing not to mention the lodge itself. If you are looking for a northwoods adventure with action or some time away to relax and rejuvenate, this is where you want to be. The kitchen, bedrooms, fireplace, reading nook, were all "extras" that made our stay that much more enjoyable. I would recommend this place to couples, families, and friend get-togethers. We will be back soon!Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, people with disabilities, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

For parties over 8 in the lodge, cost is $15.00 per guest per nite.& $ 100.00 cleaning fee for lodge/cabin.,. 2 sleeping cabins avail. @ $ 55.00 pr night each. Dbl. occupancy. The Teachers cabin, Sleeps 4. is $ 85.00 per nite. Cleaning fee is $ 25.00 for ea.+ Tax. Call for details. Ph 626-277-3116

House rules that must be followed.: Check-in 3 PM. Check out. 11 am. IMPORTANT: The thermostate is set at a constant 65 degrees so please do not tamper with it. If it should get a little chilly in the cabin please turn on the gas fire place which will heat the entire cabin to a comfortable 75 degrees +. Use the remote for the fire place or flip the switch to the right which is inside the access door at the bottom of the fire place. Thank you. We at the Spotted Eagle Lodge are committed to recycling. Please use appropriate trash cans for recycling. The following helps out in timely check-ins for guest. Thank You. Run dishwasher prior to checking out so housekeeping can put dishes away in a timely manner befor new guest arrive. Pick up all dog droppings at all times and dispose of properly In doggy trash container.. Thx : ) Make sure all windows are locked, back sliding door is secured and locked. Lock the deadbolt on the front door upon leaving. Ask owner where to place keys and garage door opener if garage is rented. There is a no smoking policy in any of the buildings and we ask you to please stay clear of entrances when smoking. Extinguish smoking materials in containers please. Why the Owner Chose Grand Rapids:
This property was built in a secluded area in 2006 for vacationers wanting to relax and enjoy the peace and comfort of the great north woods, the nature, and of course the many lakes in the surrounding area. Various workshops and seminars have been held at The Spotted Eagle Lodge from; Corporate venues to family reunions. The two cabins in the woods offer a unique setting for real peace and quiet. (See photo section). The beauty of these lush forest, abundant wildlife and the peace and tranquility is what I enjoy the most. Bird watching is a plus.! The history of the Iron Range holds an intriugeing curiosity about itself as well. It is absolutely one of the most enjoyable and relaxing places I have ever been to.

The gorgeous sunsets, being able to see the Milky Way and northern lights are what most grabbed my attention when I first came to The Spotted Eagle Lodge. The privacy and seclusion gives one a chance to relax, unwind and rejuvinate. I enjoy hiking through the forest, canoeing, cross country skiing, sno-shoeing and fishing the local lakes.... with out all the crowds. The trails are endless on the range. We suggest touring one of the 'Open Pit Mines' along The Mesabi Trail....Their very impressive. The Spotted Eagle Lodge has many amenities, such as; an Outdoor Sauna, Clubhouse with a billiard table, Foos ball table and sitting area next to the wood stove and card playing table.. An up to date fitness room for your work out. You won't get bored at The Spotted Eagle Lodge. You'll just get spoiled !
