We spent a very enjoyable time in your condo. The kitchen was stocked with so many handy items that helped us pack picnic lunches for our day trips. We did not use the beach gear but it was nice to have it available. We most enjoyed the lanai with great ocean views and sunsets. The greenery all around was lovely and fun to see families enjoying the resort amenities. Thank you! Highly recommend.

Aloha Hank & Linda, Margaret, Keith (our son) and myself have returned from our stay your Kaanapali Shores condo and we would just like to say "mahalo" for helping to make our vacation a special one. This was our second visit in the past year to to Maui and the Kaanapali Shores and our only regret is that we have to return to work, tomorrow. Echoing the comments of previous guests, we found condo 511 fit our every need and appreciated the "extras" such as the audio CD's (which we listened to daily while dining on the lanai), boogie boards, beach chairs and yes - even the tupperware (which came in very handy). Margaret wishes that we had the abundent supply of dishes and glasses in our own home that you have provided for your guests. All in all, a most welcoming and relaxing vacation. Great place and beautiful location. And all the amenities we could have wanted--fully stocked kitchen maui guide book...they even provided beach chairs, towels, and a cooler for day trips. It helped make our week in Maui wonderful. The location provided beautiful sunset views, friendly staff, was across the street from a grocery and easy access to lahaina (there's also a bus if you don't rent a car).

Offering many amenities that would have to be purchsed then possibly thrown away. We just got back from our honeymoon. The Kaanapali Shores is the perfect place to stay in Maui. And, Hank and Linda's unit is wonderful. The resort is located on a wonderful beach - you can swim AND snorkel. The resort provides plenty of chaise lounge chairs to use at the two pools and on the beach. The resort also offers plenty of towels to use without the usual check one towel in before you get another one. There is a restaurant at the resort. Although we only ate there once, we took advantage of the ice machine which is located right at the pool. There is also stores for food, drinks, clothes, etc. Right across the street, is a grocery store and several sandwich/pizza type restaurants. There is a WONDERFUL natural food store down the street that serves the most amazaing a'cai bowls - I had one for breakfast everyday. While at the natural health food store, we would also pick up a bag of the home-made tortilla chips and home-made guacamole chips for afternoon snacking. For an amazing meal, go to Gerard's in Lahaina. For a great slack key guitar show, go the Napili Kai Resort and see Ledward Kapana. Linda and Hank make sure that their unit is stocked with beach chairs, boogie boards, beach towels, etc. We stayed at the Kaanapali Shores because the place we have stayed before (The Whaler) was under construction. Perfect for a family holiday

Great place for me, my wife, and daughter. With two pools to choose from, the ocean steps away, and restaurants and a grocery store across the street we almost did not need a car. But with the car we were able to explore uncrowded beaches, the blowhole up north, and Lahaina. Hank was very easy to work with. Secret for expert snorkelers - the best snorkeling I did in Maui was a couple of hundred yards offshore right in front of the condos past the floats the surf school uses. It's quite a ways out but it is beautiful with canyons and plenty of fish. Excellent swimmers only, but it would also make a nice shore dive (free lessons in the pool every morning). We will be back.

What a truly awesome stay we had in your condo! Everything we needed or could've asked for was available and the resort was so nice. The condo was clean, and with all the extra amenities, we were very spoiled...Hank & Linda, you took the worry and hustle/bustle out of our vacation. We felt so blessed to have a place where, after a day of activity and adventure, we could just come "home", unwind, sit out on the Lanai overlooking the ocean, and relax!! The area up by Kaanapali is fabulous! Thanks also, for the tips you gave us prior to coming, that really helped!!! Would definitely recommend this place to anyone!

This was a perfect place to stay for our trip. We had done the "resort thing" before arriving here and were so happy that we had a place that felt like home. Sunsets are fantastic from the lanai and all the little things like a washer and dryer, tons of towels, snorkel and beach gear provided, made for a great stay. When returning to Maui, this would be my first choice to stay for a place that is clean, comfortable and a great location.

If you need a home away from home, this is the place for you. The views of the ocean are terrific. We loved walking along the beach and whale watching as we walked. The pool, bar and restaurant next to the beach were terrific. And it's close to Lahaina too. Hank and Linda kept in touch before and after the trip. They made sure our stay was enjoyable.

What a fantastic home in Maui! The unit was exactly how it was described, and what made this unit even more wonderful than the fantastic location were the MANY items that were available for us to use. We have 2 teenage boys, and we used the snorkal gear, boogie boards, beach towels every day. It felt like coming to your own home with the many amenities such as full kitchen gear, DVD's to watch, Hawaiian CD's to listen to, and even food items from prior guests. Hank and Linda made the reservation process extremely easy and friendly to work with, and were very helpful with the questions we had. We had a wonderful time, and would highly recommend anyone with kids to stay here. The beach is awesome, pools and hot tubs were great, and most of all a super location. Will stay here again in the near future!

I'm sitting in the condo right now. It's wonderful! My family and I have a GREAT week! It's nice and clean with all kinds of extras (snorkle gear, beach accessories, books, coffee, towels...).The view is wonderful! We even saw some dolphins go by! We stayed for almost a month in April in your condo!! We loved it so very much!! The whale watching was specatular - what a show!! We had the time of our life!! We loved sitting on the lanai and watching the sunrise and the sunset!! Condo is very homey and comfortable! All the extras you provide are marvelous.......chairs, beach towels, boogie boards, ice chests, beach mats, etc. The only item I would suggest is maybe an aerobed (airbed) - the hide-away bed was not comfortable for our daughters when they stayed for a week. Other than that we cannot wait to come back!!

We stayed in this very lovely condo for a week in mid-October 07, and loved it! Great ocean/sunset view off the Lanai, and this place had every ammenity you could think of! This property is also great with all of the little shops right on the grounds... I would highly reccommend this condo and would stay there again myself. It's also worth mentioning that the owner, Hank, was a very professional and yet very friendly person to deal with, a real pleasure.

Dear Hank & Linda, This is just to say thankyou for a wonderful stay at your condo, which I am please to say was easily big enough for the four of us. My wife and I and our two children, spent a fantastic week here in January as part of our 3 months round the world trip. Hank and Linda, We had a wonderful stay in your home. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances and everyday cooking supplies. One very minor complaint, all the cooking knives were dull. All the other extras were much appreciated (snorkel gear, cooler, CD player, etc). Grocery store is across the street - very convenient. We would definitely stay here again. Our stay in your condo was outstanding!! We have never had a place so well equipped for anything we might need from the kitchen and bathroom supplies to the recreation equipment. Everything was just as you told us it would be and as pictured. We felt very comfortable and enjoyed the beautiful view. The bad thing was we had to come home. I've used VRBO before and you certainly were the most accomodating and pleasant.

Our stay at your condo was perfect. The condo has an excellent view of the ocean, the pool, the gardens and the condo complex. The snorkel gear, beach chairs, umbrella, towels and cooler were especially welcome for our many trips to the beach! The movie selection, games and puzzle were a lot of fun to use at home when we wanted to lounge at the condo.
