Year Purchased: 2012
About the owner: Jeremy French and Lenka Chludova live in Northern California. We work as producers and production managers in the music industry since the 1990s. We earned our Masters Degrees in The Netherlands and in Boston, Massachusetts.
Why the Owner Chose Tucson Estates: We loved the desert from the first moment. We traveled and lived in the Southwest. When Jeremy inherited the property in 2012 from his beloved great-aunt Zaye Chapin, we wholeheartedly knew we needed to keep the house in the family. Zaye was an outstanding, calibre one woman and we honor her gift deeply. Renting the property to vacationers allows us to maintain the house and further her legacy.
The Unique Benefits at this House: There are a thousand and one details we love about the Zaye Chapin House. But as far as favorites go it's a toss up between the magnificent 50+ year old palo verde tree that shades the patio, the fresh grapefruits and the hikes through the back gate into the big Cat Mountains.
