Maui Kaanapali Villas (MKV) is set on 11 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds located on one of the finest beaches in West Maui. With its low-density design and large ocean frontage, the resort never feels crowded. MKV has recently completed a multi-million dollar renovation including landscaping, new pools and spas, gas grills and a beautiful new lobby.
The resort has two swimming pools, two hot tubs, a kiddie pool and beachside shuffle board courts. Our young family loves the kiddie pool and it is only steps to one of best beaches in Maui when it’s time to build sand castles. There’s an on-site water sports rental desk for snorkel gear through paddle boards for you to maximize your enjoyment of the warm clear blue ocean waters. The sugary sand beach extends far into the water and snorkelling is right in front of you. If water sports aren’t on your agenda, take a stroll along the Kaanapali beachwalk which extends from Kahekili beach to the north through to the Hyatt Regency Maui to the south. The resort also hosts a weekly Mai Tai party to welcome all guests.
In January 2013, our one bedroom condo located in the Aloha Building was completely renovated. The fully remodeled 1000 square foot suite includes all new open-concept kitchen, stainless appliances, flooring, and furniture. Everything, right down to the linens, was replaced. It is fully equipped for your vacation enjoyment including a large bedroom with two (2) California King beds, queen sleeper sofa, large flat screen TV’s and a deep bath tub. Our view is a garden view with a partial ocean. From the comfort of the living room, watch a famous Maui sunset over the neighbor island of Lanai.
Use our fully equipped kitchen to prepare meals or simply stock snacks and beverages for your convenience. There are several gas grills located around the property for your use and they quickly become social centers as people are preparing meals and sharing stories about their day. If you prefer dining out, Castaways Café is located beachside on the resort and receives 4/5 star rating on Trip Advisor.
A complimentary trolley runs between MKV and central Kaanapali, including the Whalers Village (5 min ride) where fantastic shopping, scores of fine restaurants and complimentary evening entertainment such as hula dancing shows await you.
There are plenty of activities within walking distance such as; Kaanapali Golf Course is 0.4 miles away, tennis at the Royal Lahaina Tennis Ranch, snorkel or swim at Black Rock or catch the Sugar Cane Train into Lahaina.
A four mile drive will bring you to an historic whaling port and old capital of Hawaii – Lahaina. Lahaina is now a hub of activity with restaurants, shops, and bars. Explore Front Street day or night and enjoy the charm and liveliness. Make sure to visit the famous Banyan tree!
Or venture out further and watch the sunrise on Haleakala, take drive on the Road to Hana, zip-line through the tropical canopy or enjoy a whale watching tour during the winter whale season.

My wife and I spent 5 nights at this property and it was great! The unit is clean and recently remodeled beautifully. The resort is wonderful in a great location on the north side of Kaanapali beach (just north of blackrock). We had a great time and would definitely stay here again.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

This was my first visit to Maui & it really couldn't have been better. The beach, condo, location, grounds and overall feeling were perfect. I only wish I could have stayed longer. Andrew was easy to work with, well organized and responsive to all my questions. An awesome vacation on a beautiful beach. Thank you for sharing your piece of paradise!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

•A rental agreement will be emailed detailing your costs and stay. A deposit of $300 is required to confirm your dates. Full payment due 45 days prior to arrival. The deposit automatically converts to a security/damage deposit upon full payment. It is fully refunded within fourteen (14) days of departure.

About the owner: Living in Vancouver, Canada, we traveled to Maui several times and always loved the Kaanapali area for the beautiful beaches and less populated resorts. MKV was the first place we traveled with our young children. We immediately fell in love with MKV and continued to come back until we decided to buy a unit. We remodeled the unit in a fashion that we are proud to share with others. We know that you have many choices of where to stay so when you're our guest we want you to say, 'I made the right choice' from the moment you arrive.
Why the Owner Chose Maui Kaanapali Villas:
MKV offers what we believe to be the perfect Hawaiian experience. A large, low density property with lots of green space right on a class A beach. Never is the pool too crowded to have a lounge chair nor the beach that you can't find a place to sit. The environment creates a wonderful social experience - chat to fellow travelers at the pool, share a cocktail at the weekly complimentary mai tai party and exchange stories of your day while you cook dinner at the gas grilling stations around the property.
