MY VAIL SPA CONDO
We purchased our private penthouse condominium in the Lionshead section of Vail, Colorado after going there to ski for years. We love the place and think you will really enjoy it as well.
Our condo is approximately 1800 square feet, with 3 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, a fully-equipped kitchen, spacious great room and 800 feet of balcony. It is located at Vail Spa which is about a 5 minute walk to the Lionshead Gondola. It is located across from the Vail Marriott Resort and the Ritz Carlton.
The living room has a brand new flat panel TV and a stereo/VCR/DVD entertainment system. Each bedroom has a TV and VCR. The master has a DVD player. We added a nice barbeque on the deck, and there is a great gas fireplace.
The master bedroom has a private bath and king size bed. One guest room has a queen sized bed with a pullout trundle bed. The full bathroom for that room is next door in the hallway. The third bedroom has two twin beds and a private bath. Every room opens onto a balcony. Since it is the penthouse, with only one other apartment on the floor, it has a very private feel.
The Vail Spa condo is a great facility. The staff is very helpful and there is daily housekeeping. There are two pools and two hot tubs (one set indoor and one outdoor). They have a decent workout room, with a treadmill and some weight training equipment and a sauna. The men's and ladies locker rooms are excellent and always stocked with toiletries and towels. For a perfect day, work out in the fitness room, relax in the indoor and outdoor pools and Jacuzzis, steam rooms and sauna, have the hotel staff arrange a relaxing massage or body treatment in one of the private massage rooms, then warm yourself around the outdoor fire pit while sipping a complimentary cup of coffee, tea, cider or hot cocoa next to the cozy lobby fireplace. For even more pampering, we recommend the Marriott across the street. The Marriott also has ski rental, a dining room open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and a great lobby bar for after ski drinks and late night meals or snacks.
Other Vail Spa amenities include: complimentary wireless Internet throughout the building; guest computers with printer and Internet access in the lobby; complimentary on-site covered parking; daily shuttle trips to the grocery store; and secure ski storage. The front desk staff is available 24 hours a day and full concierge service is available.

I understand that the quality of the condos varies widely within Vail Spa since they are owner-owned, but we rented Unit #501 and it was fabulous. Three bedrooms, tons of amenities including TVs in every bedroom and large plasma TV in the living room, wrap-around deck so every bedroom opens to deck, beautifully furnished all-around and very warm and comfortable. Location within a couple minutes of the gondola. Nightly maid service, and overall very updated interior and appliances etc., grill, etc. The condo is wired for speakers in every room with surround sound for the TVs, the only thing we didn't have were CDs since they had a stack of DVDs but no CDs. I have stayed at this condo several times now. I am a huge fan of the location and the amenities at the facility. They have an indoor pool and hottub, as well as an outdoor one. Also have a great exercise room. The condo itself was recently upgraded and is gorgeous. The owners have not missed a beat. Fully stocked kitchen, just like at home. The big flat screen above the fireplace while sitting on the comfy couch is great! Surround sound throughout the house is awesome and the iPod connector to the stereo is a nice touch. The balconies are a great place to see the conditions in the am, before getting out. Also a great place to have a nightcap.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, people with disabilities.

About the owner: We are the Nelson's from Miami, Florida. A family of six. We vacation often at our Vail Spa condo and enjoy the outdoor activities whether its summer or winter.
Why the Owner Chose Vail Spa:
We visited Vail many times several years prior to purchasing our condo. We enjoyed skiing but also find the summer activities to be incredibly fun. We love the place and think you will really enjoy it as well.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
