Saltwater Tides is a 3 Bedroom, 2 bath, 2000 square foot beach view rental just 600 feet from the beach, that sleeps 8. This gorgeous 1997 split level house, has an open floor plan, sweeping views, a wrap around deck, plenty of parking and a single car garage. Watch the fishing boats go in and out of the Siuslaw river on their way to catch Oregon's famous Dungeness Crab. Look for spouting Gray Whales, and watch Bald Eagles & Pelicans soaring over the surf, and there's even a view of Heceta Head Lighthouse. If you've stayed at Saltwater before be advised that it received a complete re-do on the inside this year, with new furniture, new tv's, and new paint. While it was great before it is stunning now.
Upstairs you'll find the Great Room. A large Kitchen, Dining Room, and Living room, so everyone can be together and not miss a thing - all have amazing views. In the kitchen you'll find plenty of counter space, a glass top range, large refrigerator, and a dishwasher. The dining room table seats 8, plus a bar for 2. The large airy living room has vaulted ceilings, stunning views with overstuffed furniture and lovely coastal decorations. There is also a 40 inch satellite TV, and DVD player.
Also on this floor you'll find the Master bedroom, which has a king bed, a walk in closet with access to the bathroom and a 26 inch TV. This bathroom is also the main bathroom for the great room, and includes a shower. On the lower level of the house you'll find another bathroom with shower/tub combo and a super large bedroom with 2 queen beds and fantastic views, and, it's own sitting area with a 32 inch TV. There is also a third bedroom with 2 twin beds, access to the single car garage, and a large laundry room, with full size washer & dryer.
The second floor deck, has remarkable views, with access right off the kitchen for for those sunny days. This house offers ample room for the whole family to spread out. It's the perfect place for your Holiday or Rhododendron festival gathering. There's room to park at least two trucks and trailers, on a paved surface. This is our only property that features a fenced kennel between the garage and back yard, and a completely fenced back yard. The perfect property for your furry friends. Ping Pong Table in Garage, for evening family fun - or something to enjoy on those rainy days.

About the owner: We reside and operate a business in Roseburg, Oregon but Florence is our get-a-way destination for family fun. Life is about making memories as our kids seek their own paths and our grand kids grow.
Why the Owner Chose Florence:
We purchased the beach house in 1998 after already having a 2nd home in the Florence beach area for the previous 10 years. This house became available and we could not pass it up. It lies so close to the beach access but slightly elevated, thus creating fabulous panoramic views from the jetty, to the south to the historic Heceta Lighthouse to the north. It's full size and features makes it a home away from home and we just melt in it's comfort during our visits.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
This beach setting is the place we've made many of those loving memories with our family. We've never run out of things to do here: beach walking, sea shell exploration, dune bugging, crabbing, fishing, hiking or just vegging out with a good book on a rainy day. Our beach house has never let us down by allowing us some time to escape the realities of life, relieving our stress and making us take those deep breaths of relaxation. We've always said a weekend in Florence is like a week's vacation.
