Immaculate 1-BD 1 BA condo with a private rooftop deck and a gourmet kitchen (granite / stainless finishes and a dishwasher) perfect for a romantic getaway or seaside vacation in a city consistently lauded for its premium quality of life and excellent 'foodie' scene. The apartment has hardwood / cork floors, a claw-foot tub for soaking (and a shower too), and luxury-quality linens, furnishings, and amenities. This is the top (third) floor of a 1860s French empire building, on a quiet, tree-lined street in a West End registered historic district, just off Longfellow Square. The area is walking or biking distance to several farmer markets, top-ranked restaurants, the art museum, theaters, and cultural venues. It is close to Maine Medical Center (and often rented to visiting doctors on rotations as well). This is the private retreat of a writer, a quiet and very light and airy retreat. Several beaches are within a 10-20 minute drive. The airport / train station is about 10 minutes by taxi. There is off street parking for one car; camper vans/trailers not permitted. The entire building is a smoke-free property.
