  A week was simply not enough at this wonderful place. The location was perfect, the kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, and everything you might need. The owners supply beach equipment including snorkels, towels, boogie boards, even coolers, as well as bicycles. We rented a two person kayak for the day and they made it easy and enjoyable. An adorable cat, dog, and chicken are roaming the place and they are all friendly and delightful. The backyard is beautiful and serene with fruit trees bearing a lot of different types of fruit. It's a great place to relax upon returning. The owners are friendly and helpful but also allow you as much privacy as you want or need. They are never intrusive. I highly recommend a stay at the Lanikai Bungalow for a memorable vacation.

  We enjoyed our stay at this cozy garden bungalow; we loved that a chicken came over everyday and that Junior the dog came by to visit too. The garden was lovely and private with fruit trees, ginger and palms, the beach was a 5 minute walk away and having access to bikes was wonderful. The bungalow was immaculate and clean and we felt so safe that we slept with the windows open every night; the breeze that blew all of the time was heavenly. This was a very relaxing place to stay and the owners family was very nice to us. We had wanted to stay in Kailua but Lanikai turned out to be quiet and uncrowded; we would definitely go back- the beach was gorgeous.

  My husband, daughter and I had the comforts of home in this beautiful cottage. Anything and everything for the beach was available. My daughter loved your dog and sweet cat. Thank you for your hospitality.

  We loved our two week family vacation at the Lanikai Bungalow. Our little toddler loved the passion fruit that grew on the property as well as the resident dog and cat. Some days after a quick swim in the ocean we could relax the morning away enjoying the naturally landscaped private backyard with patio dining and lawn. On other days we could meander out following the owner's excellent tips for local dining or excursions. An afternoon of kayaking, snorkeling, paddle boarding, or beaching was always an option with the convenient on-property equipment and amenities (outdoor shower, washer dryer, towels & beach toys, and resident kayaking/surfing guide). The retal's location on the Lanikai Loop was great for a stroll, bike or jog around the friendly neighborhood. The cottage has a creatively designed interior and is full of thoughtful/useful items for making living here a breeze (fans, outdoor gas grill, coffee and waffle maker, wifi, full kitchen & utensils, and accommodating nooks for things). You will not be disappointed with your stay here, as beauty, warmth & convenience abound so you can take your vacation wherever it needs to go!

  The past two months here at your cottage have been absolutely wonderful. Lanikai is truly a very special place. Thank you for opening up your home for me and I appreciate your warm and laid-back personality and your professional and welcoming hospitality. I hope to be back sometime soon, but I will have many wonderful memories of my time spent here. Best of luck to you and your family.

  Mike and I had a wonderful relaxing time in your beautiful cottage, exploring the garden, watching the bananas ripen and just sitting still observing the geckos, monarch butterflies, and of course, Manu. Thank you for sharing such a beautiful place with us. We hope to see you again.

  Cary and I would just like to thank you for making our honeymoon perfect. You really do have your own paradise island in your backyard. We felt welcome and the hospitality is amazing. We would not be able to find a place as inviting as your bungalow. Thanks for your help, allowing us to use the kayak and the bikes and most of all giving us the chance to be in Hawaii and having never ending memories of our honeymoon.
