The Casita (La Casita Firenze) is available as an optional attached 3rd bedroom to renters of the Guest House and never rented to a third party.

Guest House and Casita are part of a private 5000 sift gated family estate. Main home never rented and owner onsite at main house occasionally. Owners leave Guests to enjoy rear courtyard, pool and spa.
Desert Sun Estate Guest House and Casita (La Casita Firenze) are ideally suited to Guests 40+ (renters must be 40 years of age or older, sorry no exceptions)
Our minimum stay is for one week however February and March I have two week minimums . Inquire for special rates for stays of 3-6 months or stays during the summer months.
Guest House boasts: Chefs kitchen with Granite countertops, top of the line stainless appliances with two ovens, double-oven microwave, dishwasher and breakfast room. Private patio off breakfast room has bistro table and seating, gas BBQ and sound system speakers.
The large Living room has a relaxing view of rear courtyard, pool, waterfalls and Italianate columned pergola and is completely private from neighbors. Living room has a 55' hd tv, Wifi and sound system music throughout the house with individual room speaker control. Just plug in your iPhone into the house receiver. All rooms have speakers, including bathrooms.
Down the hall you find the two Master Suites both with showers. The larger master BR has a shower and separate Spa waterjet tub, spa tub is heated with hydrotherapy mood lighting for the ultimate time to relax and wind down.
Each suite has a queen bed , and walk in California closets . There is also a half bath off the great room for your guests.
The large master bedroom also has great views of the pool and spa as does the Great room. Mountain views visible from front French-doors/patio
Guest house has its own laundry room with large front loading washer/dryer.
The home has Ceramic tile floors throughout and Ceiling Fans in every room help create the perfect environment for your Desert experience.
Guest's of the Guest House may opt to also rent the Casita as a third bedroom to accommodate 2 more Guest's (Queen bed ensuite bedroom). The Casita (La Casita Firenze) is not rented as a standalone to others and is only offered as an optional bedroom for Guest's of the Guest House. Casita rental brings total sleeping capacity to 6 persons. Casita rental is minimum 3 days and does not need to be rented for the full term of your stay. So rent only for the time you expect to have short-term guests visiting you.
During your stay, cleaning of Guest House and Casita is available as an option. Ask about pricing if this feature. Starting May of 2015, Stays of 30 or more have a required $150 cleaning fee each month ( we clean all showers and bathrooms, kitchen and floors each month).
The shared rear courtyard is an oasis in the desert and the focal point of the property with its pool and spa. (Owners will leave you to your privacy when rented) The pool/spa is saltwater (amazing) and has a pebbletech bottom. Renter may take advantage of spa and pool although pool is unheated. (You may opt for a heated pool at a $525 mo fee),
Relax in the rear courtyard which boasts a 6 six person hot tub with a water fall that flows into the saltwater pool The rear courtyard is surrounded by Orange, Lemon, and Lime trees.
The rear courtyard is perfect for entertaining and enjoying the cooler peaceful nights that only the Desert offers.
There also is a large sitting area under an Italianate, columned Pergola, next to a large Koi pond with another relaxing waterfall. Sit, visit with friends, read and relax. Newly added, a six person outdoor dining table.
Guest House has its own one car garage and a private gated front entrance

Individuals interested in renting the Guest House/Casita must be at least 40 years old or older in order to sign Rental Agreement and as Guest responsible for payment of rental.
Rental agreement covers 4 occupants of Guest House and as an option 2 occupants of Casita. Desert Sun Estate has a non-rotational, non-sublet policy. Any new or rotating guest not outlined at time of inquiry will be charged at one half the daily rate
Concierge services offered: restaurant and cocktail bar reservations at the best in the Desert. For those day trips you plan to Los Angeles or San Diego, restaurant and cocktail bar recommendations and reservations ( for the highest rated restaurants and cocktail bars) are available.

A former Mixologist at one of Chicagolands exceptional restaurants. I have enjoyed the dining here in the desert. I have many recommendations. I enjoy golf,Tennis, Hiking, and mountain Biking which Is why I love the desert It's all very close! Daily workouts and keeping in shape is not hard to do in the desert.
