Kayaking in Salt Lake or crabbing too. Of course, there is plenty of fishing opportunities! Watch for the dolphins that swim in the lake. Most importantly you can relax on the multiple porches around the house.

This house was more then enough room for 12 people. We went with 6 couples and had a blast here. This is something we do once a year with are closest friends and it was nice to all stay under one roof rather then an hotel. The guys enjoyed fishing all night while the women sat around enjoying the nice breeze. This is a beautiful house and it is just minutes from the beach. We would rent from this owner again. This property was a perfect fit for our Spring Break getaway. The amenities met all our expectations. The kids enjoyed the layout and made use of the fishing deck and kayak. Some had never kayaked before. The lake was perfect for this. They were visable from any point on the lake. The bait shops, beaches, downtown district and HEB were 10 minutes away. The owner was very responsive to our questions. I would highly recommend to friends and family.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.

Why we chose this property? This is one of the hidden gems of Rockport. Quiet area with access to fishing and fun. We like having the large water view from our backyard and not looking into our neighbors back porch.
