The house is a great getaway venue for families, couples, friends, and businesses. It offers two bedrooms with one bath. Situated conveniently close to shopping, golfing, tennis, parks, Aquarium, Arena and Mercedes Superdome, it is particulary convenient for those staying overnight for events in New Orleans.
The cozy and well equiped living area includes a large flat screen TV with high ceilings and a futon for sleeping. The kitchen is a fully-equiped with a pull down flat screen TV and appliances.
Both bedrooms are the same size. The first bedroom has a king-sized bed. The second bedroom has a queen-sized bed. With a Jack and Jill bathroom between the bedrooms.
So that all of the comforts and conveniences of home are at your fingertips, the Metairie offers a microwave, blender, crock pot, and coffeemaker are among the small appliances that are standard. An initial supply of toiletries is provided. All you need to bring are your clothes.

4 of us flew in from Chicago to enjoy Bourbon Street and some parades. The house is cute and close to the airport and city. Can't wait to visit again.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.

Why Metairie:
I purchased this property after Katrina as it is not located in a flood zone area and has never flooded. Also my sons wanted to attend one of the best football high schools in the area (John Curtis Chrisitan High School). They are now grown. We also stay in home when attending events in New Orleans.
