This property is fabulous, we will be back! The property is just as described, very comfortable and right on the beach. We walked for miles on the beach and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The Sea Shanty which is just down the road had delicious breakfast, next time we are going to try their desserts - they look yummy! We very much enjoyed our Christmas night time tour of Hearst Castle. It was beautifully decorated and had people milling around in period costumes, giving it authenticity. Definitely worth trying. Most of all we enjoyed sitting on the beach front patio reading our books and enjoying the sound of the sea. Very relaxing!!

Recommended for:Age 55+, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We enjoyed our stay in your lovely Cayucos beach house and found everything in order and working well. Thank you so much for the olive oil and the great wine. I had been ready to give up on rental vacation beach homes in Cayucos after our last two experiences, but your house is by far the best and the most comfortable one we've found. We want to return to this special part of California and to your home.

Location, location, location...this is truly the place to spend time with your family. Since we had 9 family members coming at different times during our stay, we rented the main house and the guest house. Both properties are fantastic. The main house is right on the beach. My youngest grandson donned his wetsuit and hit the surf with his uncle, cousins and grandpa....kite flying, coffee on the deck, walks on the beach, good restaurants...just can't get much better.

'Old moms' week-end in Cayucos

Six old friends gathered at this lovely ocean front home to enjoy the view, beautiful accommodations; olive oil, and champagne (thanks, Nina), comfy beds! We strolled to town to antique shop, and wine tasted at the local wineries. One day was drizzly, so we curled up in front of the fire and watched the amazing ocean, eating, and visiting the day away! I hope to return with my own family in the near future! Thank you for making our stay memorable. LOVED the red frig!!

Our family of four including our 14 year son and 11 year daughter had the best vacation ever. I enjoyed being welcomed with the fresh flowers, the bottle of wine and the Oil Olive. We loved eating our meals on the deck outside. I always dreamed of staying in a house right on the beach and this house was perfect. The master bedroom over looking the beach was very romantic. We loved listening to the waves at night. The kids bedroom was in the back half of the house away from the master suite. We loved walking to the bakey and the Candy/Gelato store everyday. We were also walking distance to the grocery store, We looked forward to our morning walks on the beach collecting shells and sand dollars. We visited the Piedras Blancas Lighhthouse, explored tide pools in Montano de Oro State Park, toured Hearst Castle and enjoyed a day of shopping in San Luis Obispo : )) and visiting Cal Poly Campus. We highly recommend this house,

Our family had a wonderful week at this house in August'09. It was the ideal way to end summer vacation; so ideal, in fact, we're coming back this August! The house was perfect for 2 adults and 2 kids (the bunk room became their favorite hideout!). We loved watching dolphins and pelicans from the balcony and living room/master bedroom windows, flying kites and playing on the beach, going for long walks, exploring tide pools, and riding the amazing sand bikes that we rented in town. We adored Cayucos (especially the family-owned bakery and the cookie shop!), and had lots of fun visiting nearby towns, as well. I can't say enough good things about this lovely and comfortable house, its fantastic location, and the charming town of Cayucos. We created so many happy memories there, and we can't wait to return and create more!

What a wonderful place to celebrate a memorable birthday! The beach house is comfortably furnished and the view is spectacular. Watching dolphins and seals play as the children run in the sand is such a pleasure. We especially enjoyed the proximity to other cities along the Central Coast. We will return!

This was our annual Girls Weekend getaway. The accommodations were excellent. The dolphins and seals kept us amused, as did the people and dogs walking down the beach. We visited the farmers market in SLO and the antique stores in downtown Cayucos. We will definitely be returning. The house was very inviting, the beds comfortable and the deck was extremely relaxing. slo

Our family just LOVED staying in this house. It was perfect for 4 adults and a little one. The house itself is beautiful and far exceeded our expectations. The photos don't do it justice. I think we all gasped when we walked in and saw THAT view...right on the beach. We loved walking on the beach daily, going on a little wine country excursion and being able to return to a lovely home. Saw whales and dolphins from the deck! The house had everything that we needed and we really appreciated the quality of the furnishings, appliances and kitchenware. Hope to return many times...maybe next time we can bring more family members and rent the guest house too! Thanks!

Nine days of sheer heaven. The best location of any home in Cayucos. Warm, cozy and chock full of anything you need to feel at home. Renting a house on the beach was something I've always wanted to do, so when I turned 50 this year, I gave myself this gift. I wanted to move in permanently and had to force myself to pack and leave! The first few days were the best time with my two grown sons we've ever had together. I enjoyed a couple of alone time days to read and walk on the beach and another few days with great girlfriends. What could be better? Thank you Nina....we'll see you next year!

After many years of vacationing in Cayucos, my family and I rented Nina's beach house (we rented the main house and the guest house) for a week. Everyone agreed that this house was the best on the beach and the best that we've ever rented. The view is outstanding and the location is short walking distance from everywhere. The house is extremely well kept and all of our needs were met. We had the most fantastic vacation and can't wait to stay there again!

The house and surroundings are lovely. It is a wonderful experience to have the ocean just at your feet. You can fall asleep to the sound of crashing waves. Walk into town for a cup of coffee and the morning paper. Everything there makes you feel very comfortable - the linens, pillows, fireplace, kitchen ware and cooking appliances - just like home and very high quality. The seperate bedroom from the master was perfect for kids to hide away in and have their own space.

We enjoyed a very lovely and relaxing week here in December 2007. We were very comfortable and cozy in this beautiful home that is located on a gorgeous stretch of beach. I found the kitchen to be a delight to cook in, so we found ourselves eating most of our meals here at "home". We will most definitely be coming back for another stay! Thank you to our hosts for the delicious bottle of wine, olive oil and fresh flowers. And, BTW, top-of- the-line appliances which I appreciated very much :)

We stumbled upon this quiet coastal community when looking for somewhere to stay that was comfortable and non commercialised. What a beautiful and hospitable place to be. Our only disappointment was that our stay was too short! The flowers, wine and olive oil was a wonderful touch and we were most grateful for the efficient way we were able to organise our stay from abroad. We stayed in the guest house, the bed was the most comfortable we have ever experienced and we will be back, sometime soon I hope. Anna & Vernon

This is our third year at this wonderful property. You won't find a more peaceful and beautiful setting. This house has all that you could possibly want to make your vacation comfortable. You are just a few miles away from Hearst Castle, Cambria, Morro Bay and Pismo Beach.

We stayed for the week before Labor Day Weekend - end of summer. It was a perfect ending. A perfect beginning and an excellent break from the real world. We saw dolphins and whales (fluke and all) with naked eye from the balcony, cooked in the Viking Stove and ate as many meals on the deck as it has the best view in town. When we did venture out ... it was to see the giant elephant seals, rent cruisers on the beach, to go to San Simeon Hearst Castle, Cambria, Morro Bay, San Louis, Paso Robles ... all within 10-30 minutes away. Caught the best lightening and thunder storm with a full moon that illuminated the entire ocean and sky. A great rejuvenation and wonderful place to be with those you love and care about to just STOP and ENJOY life and each other. No one wanted to leave. Can't wait to return ... perhaps permanently.

We stayed in the smaller guest house, which was exquisite. Quite a welcoming home, complete with a lovely bouquet of flowers. Very very comfortable bed. Cozy fireplace with lots of "bankies" to keep us toasty. The kitchen was a dream to work in. We especially enjoyed the wine and olive oil. We used the olive oil to perfectly roast a chicken, which we enjoyed at our delightful country dining table. I highly recommend this home. This is the third year our family has spent two weeks in this wonderful home. This year(we're still here!) is particularly fun as we are treated to very regular pelican and dolphin shows. So relaxing and such a great way to spend family time.

Do you want to stay at an idyllic spot where the hustle and bustle of life is completely erased from memory? Well this is the perfect locale! My family has stayed at the beach house six times and, I kid you not, the beach house rivals Maui!!!!! I would highly recommend the main house and the guest house to ANYONE! We've taken our extended family, our best friends and even girls only for a girl's weekend. All have been amazed and impressed with the house and the locale. But shhhhhh, don't tell EVERYONE ... keep this between you and I!

Our family stayed in the guesthouse during early June. Wow, what a beautiful spot on the beach. The view was spectacular. We felt like it was our own private back yard. The guesthouse is very spacious, comfortable and private. We had a ball! The kids loved being a step away from the beach. We would come back to your “beautiful spot “on the beach in a heartbeat. We stayed in the Main house for a week in June. We loved it!! We drove from Texas (as my Husband doesn't fly) and when we opened the front door and saw the view through the living room windows...it was breathtaking. Being right on the beach was great...we could sit on the deck and watch the kids below playing in the sand. Listening to the waves was so relaxing. We loved all the wood and tile throughout the house. We really loved the red frig :-) Cayucos is a wonderful little beach town. We are already planning a return trip!!! This house gets a thumbs up from the Gang from Texas!!!
