Year round vacation rental. Cozy four bedroom, three bath lake house, privately situated on almost 2 acres of Aiken Point, with a private dock and private sandy beach. Built in the 1930s as a summer residence for a wealthy Massachusetts family, this house maintains all the charm of that era, with all modern appliances in the kitchen. It is a quiet setting (you can hear the loons call), with lake views from most of the windows and views of the mountains from the yard.
Upstairs is a master bedroom with a queen-size bed and private bath. A second master bedroom with queen-size bed shares a large bathroom with a bedroom containing two twin-beds. There are great views of the lake from the upstairs bedrooms.
Downstairs is a bedroom with a with pyramid bed (bunk bed with one on top, two below), and single-bed, with a small bathroom and shower across the hall. There is a large kitchen, with plenty of counter space and breakfast nook, butler's pantry, and laundry area. The formal dining room and living room have water views.
There is also a screened porch with comfortable seating and dining furniture, and great views of the lake. You will not be disappointed in our beautiful waterfront home.

A group of five late 20-something, early 30-something couples came up here for a long weekend away from Boston. We had a great time. I do not think the pictures do the place justice. The interior of the house is well maintained, extremely clean, and put together. We ended up skiing and snowboarding at Gunstock, shopping at the outlets, snowshoeing on the lake, talking with the local fishermen during the Webster Lake Ice Fishing Derby, and hanging out in the house. I would not hesitate to stay here again in winter or summer. The house is surrounded on three sides by water and has awesome views. Further, the place is pet-friendly and our dogs loved running around. Only minor complaint (EXTREMELY SMALL ISSUE) is if you need wi-fi, bring your own router from your house. There is super fast internet with an ethernet cable, but no wi-fi router. We went to the Walmart and got one for the weekend. Other than that small issue, we had a great weekend.
