Italy Perfect Winner of Trip Advisor-FlipKey's Award of Excellence 2011 & 2012. Travel & Leisure Magazine Italy All-Star 2013.
Danza is a two bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment well located in the heart of one of Rome's most loved historic centers. Guests can enjoy walking to many Rome attractions, including the Vatican, the Colosseum, Campo de' Fiori, Piazza Navona, as well as shopping along via Giubonari and via Coronari.
The apartment is on the top floor of a small 1500's apartment building with wonderful views from the rooftop terrace as well as 'Juliet' balconies off the living and dining rooms. The building has a small elevator to the top floor as well as an original feature stairwell. Danza is comfortable and adequately furnished with a casual simple style of decor, but very spacious and well laid out. Another original feature is the lovely painted terracotta floors.

We had a wonderful week in Rome staying at the Danza apartment. Breakfast each morning on the terrace, roaming the fascinating neighborhood, very ideal for our family. There was plenty of space, location was just fantastic and we could not have imagined a more scenic location. It was hard to choose each night which great restaurant to go to. We ate out almost every night but did enjoy the terrace for a fun family dinner one evening, really a highlight of our stay. The Danza apartment exceeded our expectations and terrace was great. Thanks for all the good information and tips Italy Perfect!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

We organized our stay here at the last minute and Italy Perfect came through with a great apartment. My wife and three daughters loved the terrace and the location. We really enjoyed not staying in a hotel in Rome.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

The location of the apartment was pretty much perfect. We walked to the Vatican, the Coliseum, Campo de Fiori, everywhere. We were able to communicate with the greeter, although her English was limited. Spent quite a bit of time on the terrace. The neighborhood was perfect for us, found a nice place for our morning cappuccino. We also enjoyed waking up and having a breakfast in. The recommendation for us to start our trip in Venice worked out well.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

We were to pleased to have found this great apartment. Italy Perfect was recommended by a friend and when we went on the site, we found the Danza Apartment and immediately booked it for our family. It was centrally located near Campo de' Fiori, where we had dinner several times. There is a market near by and the trolley runs close by, too. We were able to walk everywhere we went except to the train station (we caught taxis right outside). It was very hot when we were there, so we really appreciated the cool tile floors and the air conditioning! We did not cook, but kept things in the refrigerator for quick snacks. We were pleased to have a washer in the unit and an upper level terrace that provided both a great place to sit and a place to discretely dry our clothes. With 5 people, the 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and pullout couch were perfect. The 'lift' was so helpful getting our bags up, but after that we used the stairs to climb to the apartment. I would highly recommend Danza if you are traveling to Rome!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Great apartment: updated and spacious in a fantastic area! So many restaurants (take out pizza from Taverna Cairoli downstairs to eat on the terrace for 6E; Roscioli fo bread and prepared foods, again for the terrace, gelato at Corona on via Arenula) piazzas (Campo dei Fiori, Farnese), museums(Palazzo Spada, Capitoline) within a 5-10 minute walk. The furnishings are simple but comfortable and the painted terracotta floors were lovely. The beds were very comfortable (and I am a stickler for that) and the water pressure was great too. The kitchen is a typical Italian one: much smaller than we are used to in the States, but it was updated and had the bonus of a dishwasher and washing machine (drying rack pulls out of the right wall of the terrace.) The terrace was a delight (when it wasn't too hot to use it), and the air conditioning was put to the test and performed beautifully. Wifi was very reliable (a simple turning it off and on again took care of it the couple of times it went out which we chalked up to the unseasonable heat). One note: the elevator is small (only two people or one person and a bag at a time) and SLOW. Not really a problem, but good to know. To put it simply, we were there for 11 days and despite the heat (and because of it, for we spent a fair amount of time inside) we were very comfortable the whole time. Lisa and Pat were fantastic from start to finish: very friendly, responsive and helpful both by email and phone. After a few days we found that the a/c really wasn't reaching the kids' room sufficiently (it was REALLY hot this trip) so they had us pick up a fan and reimbursed us for it. Maybe a small thing, but it was nice to know that we were being taken care of even after we had paid the rent and from so far away. We would recommend them and use them again without question. Maybe London next time....Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

We frequently travel to Rome and prefer the Campo di Fiori area. Danza was probably the best accomodation we have ever had in that area. It's location was perfect and gave us access to our many favorite sites and restaurants. The apartment was comfortable and adequately furnished. Pretty much about what we expected. Our greeter was there to "greet and explain" and allowed us immediate access to the apartment. Leaving was just as simple. Our only criticism was the absence of a mid week linen change. Perhaps one should be offered, if only as an option. On the other hand, perhaps one was. I'll have to re-check the information provided. When next we return to Rome (the sooner, the better) we'll certainly check in with Italy Perfect again and will recommend you to others. As a tip for future travelers, we found the few very close restaurants ("Regola" being one of them) excellent dinner choices. The shopping along via Giubonari has certainly improved over the years, and the shopping along via Coronari (a short walk) is always worthwhile. Among this trip's new attractions was Cinecitta, now open to the public, and the hypogeum of the Colisseum, which is well worth the bother of getting reservations.Did you find this review helpful? From the first moment we arrived up the stairway to the apartment's entrance we were charmed with the beautiful light and lovely spacial arrangement. Everything about the apartment was delightful, and the location couldn't be more convenient for access to the fabric of life in and around Trestavere. Endless dining opportunities await every turn at every street, with shopping options that never ended. Our host was friendly and helpful, and the environment around the building was filled with the sounds and sights of Rome at it's best. Our week went by so fast, we wished for another! We would return for a repeat visit with any hesitation, and recommend this beautiful apartment to anyone who wants to slip into the warmth and generousity of Rome.Did you find this review helpful? It was a lovely, clean and user friendly apartment. The location was perfection! When we had a trip up with the hot water, they took care of it immediately. It was not luxurious but it was comfortable and fairly represented online. Our family of five, three daughters was very happy staying there and using the pullout sofa for our third child.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0
