This is likely the most gorgeous home in all of Blue Hill. You would never know it is on Main Street while you are enjoying the lovely yard and ocean front. The house is beautifully decorated and the kitchen has everything a chef could want.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.

Your home was lovely, and Jean-Paul even lovelier. My six year-old son remarked as we pulled away in our car, “I’m going to miss Jean-Paul and Frankie . . . I’ll always remember them.” JP really went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable; he was the ultimate host. Please do thank him again for his warmth and generosity. We had no idea that we were the first renters you had ever entertained in your gorgeous home! It was a delight and a privilege, and I hope that we didn’t leave it in too much disarray. We were a large party, and the size and layout of the house gave us plenty of space to spread out – I can definitely say that we were the envy of everyone attending my cousin’s wedding. Thank you again for a perfect weekend, and best wishes to JP and your son – Warmest regards, TheresaDid you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

We stayed for 5 nights at the Jean-Paul House in mid-August, 2010. There were 11 of us ranging in age from 22 to 82 and made up 6 families. Everyone was comfortable and thrilled with the house. Once you step into the gate from the street, it is another world. Serene and quiet with a magnificent view of the bay. The grounds and gardens surrounding the house are lovely and well manicured. We enjoyed sitting and eating on the back patio all day and then star gazing at night. In a nutshell, our stay was delightful and beyond our expectations. Sometimes photos look better than the actual house. That was not the case with the Jean-Paul house. In fact, the photos didn’t do it justice. Each room had it’s own personality and it’s own bathroom. The gathering areas - the family, living, dining and kitchen were spacious and welcoming. The view was wonderful. It is a house that welcomes the outdoors in. One of the favorite areas was the screened in porch. The decor is tasteful and interesting. Each room has unique furnishings and art, yet it all flows together. The house was clean, up to date, neat, well equiped and ventilated. The location was great. It was fun to really be in the center of town, walking distance to the market, restaurants and shops but once inside the property you were in your own quiet place. Jean Paul and Melinda were welcoming and were helpful with local activities and sight seeing in the area. We all would recommend this property in a heart beat. Hopefully we will be able to return to the Blue Hill area soon and stay again at the house.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0
