This charming post and beam cape, situated on 400 private acres, is located on a quiet country road in the heart of Vermont. There are expansive views of meadows, pastures, woodlands, stonewalls and the trout pond, with Bromley and Stratton mountains beyond. Fifty miles away, the top of Mount Snow can be seen. You can hike, XC ski or snowshoe 8 miles of trails on the property. You might even spot a beaver at the beaver ponds or the grouse taking flight. Or view the wildlife from the patio and screened in porch.
Nearby activities abound year round. Downhill skiing and snowboarding is 15 to 30 minutes to Stratton, Bromley or Okemo. Enjoy an afternoon or early evening sleigh ride with Carl Pfister at the Landgrove Inn. The Weston Playhouse and the Priory are located minutes away in town, along with the Vermont Country Store. Several golf courses nearby (The Equinox, Okemo Valley, Stratton, Killington) offer challenging rounds. There is always fine dinning, antique shops and scenic drives for exploring.
