  I have visited Paris many times and stayed in many different appartments. This time I found an appartment which has been added to my 'Favourites'. It was clean, well equipped and very comfortable. The bottle of wine was a nice touch!! Caroline's friend Aude met me at the flat and showed me where everything was and how to use the tv, wifi, etc. The flat situated in a quiet road, yet is very close to the lively streets of Montmartre. The bed, despite being a sofabed, was incredibly comfortable and easy to get out and put away. The flat is close to metro lines 2 and 12 and so is very easy to get to from the Gare du Nord. I would recommend a visit to the bar 'Chez Camille' in the rue Ravignan, which is a minute's walk from the flat. It has a great atmosphere, plays Rock 'n' Roll and the prices are very reasonable. I spent an enjoyable evening there with a group of friendly and welcoming Parisians, which was ideal for someone wanting to improve their french. Highly recommended, can't wait til the next time!!

  to stay in your studio, Place is perfect for Paris sightseeing. Very close to metro. In the heart of Montmartre. Close to all needs. Very clean and comfortable for two persons. For three people party is "just enough". Thanks for Caroline's support and flexibility.

  We loved the appartment which was accurately described with everything as listed. It was great to have such a clean appartment and well worth the cleaning charge. We found the kitchen facilities perfect for the odd snack/meal although with Montmartre a short stroll away we were spolit for choice with restaurants, cafes and bakeries. The street was alot quieter than we expected and only a few minutes away from 2 Metro stops. The owner was particularly helpful with our arrival and departure times and we will recommend to family and friends. We would love to return here every year as 4 days was not long enough for our 'wish list' of top things to do. Many thanks, Karen and 'teenage' daughter.

  I have just returned from a 5 night stay at this wonderful apartment. I feel so lucky to have found this flat 5 years ago and I have returned every year since. This is largely due to "Caroline". She is the best. You couldn't find a better owner. She really cares about the people that stay with her. She has always been so accommodating to me in every way. I really feel like I have found a friend in Paris. Cleanliness is very important to me and I have never been disappointed on any of my stays. I have never found anything out of place or dirty. Everything is there for any need you may have. The neighborhood is great. I feel very safe here. I can now walk around with out my map. I enjoy this. I love shopping at the markets near by for my food and then returning to the apartment to enjoy. The apartment also has great security. I have never felt afraid here. The description of the apartment is right on. I knew exactly what I was getting. The sleeping arrangement works very well for this apartment. The sofa bed is so comfortable. On 2 of my stays I had company and let them use the sofa bed. Both of them made the comment "this bed is very comfortable". I could go on and on about how great this apartment is, but I will end by saying this is truly a "5 Star" apartment. I am already planning by 6th stay here next October. I would recommend this property to anyone planning on visiting Paris.

  Caroline cleaned it thoroughly I couldnt fault a thing. It was an accurate description of the property. Me and my husband came to celebrate his birthday, we brought melancholy moods and it took one night in this cool little appartment to win each other back, we stayed up till 5 chatting out the window. We had small walks to the monop and bagutte shops and explored the whole hill of montmartre up to the basilica in the evening. We are both writing things and it was such a creative atmosphere, listened to the Renaud CD in the apartment; try it. It had everything we needed to have our meals make fresh coffee. Caroline is a clever stick, I didnt have french mobile and not really able to communicate with her but she nevertheless emailed me to remind me of my baggage arrangement in case I checked that. I got absolutely fleeced by the les deux moulins(amelie cafe), 22 euros for our breakfast , and they werent very friendly, felt a bit like I had just been told off, I should have just bought the baguttes and croissats from the local shops, costing us 4 euros. Go to the erotic museum its so close to the appartment and well worth seeing.It all seemed close to everything, went to the seine, notre dame, musee d'orangerie, the basilica and jardin de luxembourg, and erotic museum all in 1 night 2 days, purely because it was so close.There was even a film being filmed in front of our road , exciting seenig the action at 2 in the morning, they were so quiet and felt like we were in the middle of something, our road is so quietly picturesque and tucked away from the noise which is just minutes away. Choose this place.

  This apartment is in a lovely spot and in close proximity to all the beautiful sights of Paris. Unfortunately the bedding configuration stated that there was a double bed and a sofa bed, so this is what we expected after our long flights from New Zealand. It is great to see that the bedding configuration has now been corrected as there is only a double fold out sofa and a very thin, tiny fold out mattress which is stored under the coffee table. We had to take turns at sleeping on the floor (with the 'mattress') as my mother in law had a terribly sore back after the first night. Needless to say we were exhausted and could not wait to get out of Paris. The building smelt awful but the apartment was reasonably clean and would be a good choice for a couple if you cannot find a hotel.

  Owner response: Hi, I am very sorry that you had such a bad feeling with the appartement but you are the only one. (read the reviews) You had decided that there were 2 sofa beds but you have confused with another appartement, because the announcement has never been changed. I had you on the phone for a long time, but I beleive that you were mistaken in your choice. You wanted a 2 rooms appartement for the price of a studio. That must be the main problem. The appartement was not reasonably clean, but perfectly clean. I am sorry for you that you had such a bad time. Best regards Caroline

  I will only be repeating what previous reviewers have said but I have to recommend this apartment as it is a total gem, it really really is. I was there for 5 days with my niece who as well as falling in love with Paris totally fell in love with the apartment. Everything worked out perfectly, Caroline was so helpful at every stage of the booking and for our arrival and departure. The location is just perfect with easy access to the metro, shopping & restaurants. We felt so safe and secure and yes, the bed really isn't what you think of as a typical sofa bed, this one is SO comfortable, and spacious. The shower is also great : ) If you like smoothies do check-out Smooth in the City - up the steps outside the apartment and go right, it is a little bit down the street, sorry rue! : ) As well as smoothies they do gorgeous hot chocolate. There are so many places to explore nearby which are more fun when you discover them for yourself, so do enjoy it all, at your leisure.

  We rented this perfect little apartment largely based on the good reviews we had read and were not disappointed in the least. We arrived just in time to celebrate the Jour de la Bastille with fellow tourists and Parisians alike - what a party! As described in previous reviews, the apartment is located in a traditional Parisian quarter, with narrow cobblestone streets and lots of stairs. The building is safe and the living space is clean, comfortable and well equipped. We simply adored the Montmartre neighbourhood, especially Rue des Abbesses and the view from the Sacre Coeur. Caroline and her friend Aude were very helpful, as was the guest book which was filled with suggestions from previous renters. We highly recommend this rental!

  Stayed here for 5 nights with my boyfriend. Great location. Clean, cosy apartment. Walked for miles and miles by day, and bed was really comfortable to collapse on by night!! Would highly recommend.

  This studio was a perfect cozy stay for my husband, son and myself. The studio is clean and perfectly equipped. Montmartre is such a fun and lively neighborhood (sacre-coeur, cafes galore, boulangeries, fromageries, a parc, place du tertre, people watching, etc. !!!) I could have stayed there the whole time though this studio is just a short walk (less than 5 mins) away from 2 metro stops and it makes seeing the various sights in Paris super convenient. Caroline was extremely helpful! She provided a pack n' play for my son and helped us order a taxi for our departure. We would go back in a heartbeat!
