This very large (160 square meter, 1700 square foot) two story apartment with working fireplace is perfect for large groups or families. Located in the Jordaan district, this apartment is just minutes away from the beautiful Victorian station, known as Central Station on the Haarlemmerstraat and the Singel canal. You have a wonderful view of the old train station and of the canal from the living room and upstairs front bed room.

The Jordaan famous for its many restaurants, cafes and shops and is a lively area, popular with the locals as well as with tourists. In the early days the cafe was some kind of second living room for most people, because their houses, where lived in by large families, didn’t have a lot of space. Now days it is a main part of a nice evening out for visitors from all over.

On Saturdays, there is a wonderful open air market of organic foods at the Noorderkerkand and a block away a fabulously market on the Lindengracht. If you prefer to eat out, there is a wide variety of world cuisines available, many of which are on the Haarlemmerstraat. The Haarlemmerstraat has become known as the Soho of Amsterdam with its very trendy shops and restaurants.

All of Amsterdam most visited attractions are easily accessible by foot or by public transportation. The trams and bus lines are a mere stroll down the street from the apartment. The Anne Frank house is located nearby a five minute walk along the beautiful canal. Its a wonderful walk while admiring the many houseboats on the Singel and Prinsengracht. Come and explore the Jordaan and its many small streets with plenty of interesting shops, galleries and boutiques.

Layout and Amenities:
The dining room/living room /kitchen and master bedroom on the second floor along with a large bathroom that has a shower, Jacuzzi bathtub, washbasin and a separate toilet. A wood staircase brings you to the Third floor where there are two large bedrooms and a large bathroom with a shower, washer and dryer and another separate toilet. The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, cook top, microwave, coffee maker and dishwasher as well as dishes, glassware and pots and pans. The house has two TV’s and a stereo player. Sleeps six to 12 people comfortably.

Internet and local phone available, roof top terrace, includes all linens and towels, washer and dryer, fresh flowers, amenities such as fresh coffee, tea, milk, sugar, spices to cook with. Service for twelve, house keeping for guest staying six or more days, hair dryers, maps of city, monthly news letter of what happening around town.
