Get ready to be enchanted! Bayside is a lovely Yacht Club home with French doors and upscale touches throughout. A 2007 Hurricane 237 SunDeck boat is docked behind the house and included in your rental.
Tastefully decorated and fully equipped, this lovely three bedroom, three bath home house includes a surround sound stereo system, granite countertops, and a fireplace in the master suite. The screened lanai and pool area overlook the large private dock on Cape Coral’s 300 foot wide Bimini Canal. It is not uncommon to see dolphins swimming by and a family of manatees has also been sighted on occasion! There is a resident blue heron and lots of boat traffic to make lounging poolside a constant source of entertainment.
Your boat is kept on a lift at your dock and upon your arrival a licensed boat captain will take you on a short tour (one to two hours) to show you all needed instruction like safety features, marinas, shallow water areas and canal/river markers. The boat has been upgraded with most of the optional equipment offered for the model, such as a CD system with four speakers, swim ladders off the front and back, a live well and an in-dash fish finder. The Hurricane 237 SunDeck is the most popular and sought after boat in Florida. Cruise to Sanibel and Captiva Islands or use the on-the-water dining guide we provide to decide where to dock for lunch or dinner.

Why the Owner Chose Private Homes, Southeast
A wide, deep canal with direct access to the Gulf of Mexico was our primary reason for choosing Bayside. As it has always been our intention to offer a Cape Coral boat rental with our home, its close proximity to Ft. Myers Beach, Sanibel island and Captiva island make it an excellent choice for anyone who loves the water.
It didn't hurt that the house had just been renovated by a skilled Naples contractor and had all the finishes we love. The double french doors and nickle and brass hardware are exactly what we had put in our previous home on the Stamford Sound in Connecticut (featured in the movie "Reservation Road".)
The Unique Benefits at this House
I think the advantages of staying at Bayside are all about its location. For the most part, vacation rentals in this area are clean and comfortable, but they don't all provide the privacy of a wide water view with western exposure, or have the amazing Bimini Canal with its big boat traffic and wildlife. And they are not all within sight of the river and just six minutes from the main channel on the Caloosahatchee, nor are they so close to all the area beaches and islands.
If you want to avoid long canal boat trips at slow wake speeds, or traffic jams at boat locks and lifts so you maximize your Cape Coral boating time exploring barrier islands and beaches only accessible by boat, then this is the right vacation rental for you.
This is a great community beach with a playground, tennis courts, swimming pool, snack shop and barbeque pits.
Just an easy 11 minutes up the Bimini Canal from Bayside is a lovely park with an ice cream shop across the street. If you look to the left as you enter the Bimini Basin there are some tall apartment
There is a lovely public beach at the north end of Estero Island we like. Remember that you must anchor off shore. Motorized vehicles on the beach are subject to ticketing.
A beautiful sandy beach with minimal services. My younger children prefer Cape Coral and Ft. Myers, but as the tide goes out you cannot beat the shelling on Sanibel. Remember - motor vehicles on the b

Bayside is our holiday home several weeks a year. We plan to spend as much time as possible at Bayside We would love to move to Bayside permanently but unfortunately we will need to stay in the job market for some time before we can entertain those thoughts seriously. For now a week or two at a time at Bayside provides us the needed break from our stressed filled lives.

My family and I (two children of 10 and 14) stayed for two weeks at Bayside and had a fabulous holiday. The owner was very helpful prior to our visit and provided all the information I needed very quickly. The villa has a lovely family feel to it, is very roomy, is maintained to a high standard and we felt at home from day one. The villa is positioned close to the River and we spent almost every day on the boat exploring the nearby islands and keys. Although we are not experienced boaters, on day one the Captain talked us through how to navigate the waters, showed us some great routes and recommended some unique 'watering holes'. Our personal favourites were The Waterfront, Parrot Key and Rum Runners. Every amenity is nearby, shops, cinemas, and main routes to other towns. I would thoroughly recommend this property to other holiday makers.
Owner response:Gill, My boys like Parrot Key, too. The open air dining with live music really suites our family's taste. Glad you found it. Thanks for your choosing our home, Vicki

Hi Tom it was a wonderfull holliday in cape coral. We enjoyed every day. I will go on in german, for your future german customers: Es waren wundervolle Tage in Cape Coral. Finn

Immaculate house, very well kept, clean and well stocked! All essentials were there. We were so impressed with the house and the boat and the gardens. The boat was very fun and easy to use, it was an experience we will never forget. We saw dolphins every day, and so many wonderful birds. The kids loved the pool and especially all the wonderful toys in the house and around the pool. We felt very relaxed and at home here and will definitely be coming back to Bayside!

Our family stayed at Bayside Nov, 2011. The home is spotless, thoughfully stocked with all amenities, tastefully decorated and centrally located to shopping, beaches and restaurants. The boat was fantastic! As somewhat novice boaters, we were a bit nervous about the boat. Captain Rick arrived the morning after our arrival and gave us a great lesson on use of the boat and navigation of the canal. By the end of the week we were feeling like pros! Thank you Bayside for a "best ever" vacation....my family will be back!

If you're looking for a relaxing vacation, this beautiful home is the perfect escape. When we opened the front door to the home we all experienced the "WOW" effect and it never wore off! It's quiet yacht club neighborhood location close to the islands and beaches provided fantastic water views and beautiful sunsets. On arrival the home was spotlessly cleaned, with towels, and all bath supplies. The kitchen is well equipped with all you need for preparing dinner. Having the boat to experience the gulf islands and beaches made this a truly memorable holiday. We especially liked Cayo Costa, and North Captiva Island beaches, reachable by boat only, because we had miles of beach all to ourselves. We collected many beautiful shells from piles of shells we found on the beaches. We also enjoyed restaurants on Cabbage Key, Pine Island, and Estero beach that we found using the on the water dining guide supplied by the owner. Everywhere we saw abundant wildlife from Osprey with their nests built on piling over the water, to schools of Dolphin's, Manatees and fish of all types. Although we never got tired of having the white sand between our toes at these pristine beaches, it was nice to return home to Bayside at the end of the day to lounge by the pool and watch the sun set on another beautiful day on the water. This place was perfect and we highly recommend it.

We had such a wonderful time, we are returning next year! Location, location , location!!! The Bimini Canal is the widest canal and lounging by the pool watching the boat traffic was great! We actually saw a family of manatees right off the dock, and a pod of dolphins was almost a daily occurance. We took the deckboat out almost daily to Sanibel, Estero, Cabbage Key, and as many places we could find on the maps!! The house was well-maintained and well stocked! We truly had a wonderful experience and cannot wait to go back next year!!

The property was clean, comfortable with all of the ammenities. The boat is in great shape. This was our first boating experience. We saw many dolphins and manatee. Location is another plus..only minutes from the gulf. It was a wonderful family experience. On of our best vacations ever. I would highly recommend this property.

We enjoyed our stay at Bayside very much. Having 3 bedrooms and 3 baths was very convenient for our group. Operating a boat was harder than I thought it would but we are novice users and Captian Sal was very understanding and patient. We explored the area and found many delightful things to do. I recommend this home for a vacation rental. I am glad they updated in 2004.

We just got back from two weeks at Bayside. We had two couples there and my father-in-law and his wife stayed a couple of nights too. An absolutley enjoyable vacation in a great home. Plenty of room, amenities and activities for all of us. Among our boat trips, we went to lunch to an island restaurant on North Captiva and saw many dolphins including a small pod that played in the wake and bow of a passing boat. Captain Sal and Vicki were tremendous to work with. We loved the area so much we bought a home while there.
