Wonderful stay! The location and house were outstanding. But the boat was the best part of the stay. Well maintained and in great condition. We are planning on returning next year.

Hi Tom it was a wonderfull holliday in cape coral. We enjoyed every day. I will go on in german, for your future german customers: Es waren wundervolle Tage in Cape Coral. Finn

Immaculate house, very well kept, clean and well stocked! All essentials were there. We were so impressed with the house and the boat and the gardens. The boat was very fun and easy to use, it was an experience we will never forget. We saw dolphins every day, and so many wonderful birds. The kids loved the pool and especially all the wonderful toys in the house and around the pool. We felt very relaxed and at home here and will definitely be coming back to Bayside!

Our family stayed at Bayside Nov, 2011. The home is spotless, thoughfully stocked with all amenities, tastefully decorated and centrally located to shopping, beaches and restaurants. The boat was fantastic! As somewhat novice boaters, we were a bit nervous about the boat. Captain Rick arrived the morning after our arrival and gave us a great lesson on use of the boat and navigation of the canal. By the end of the week we were feeling like pros! Thank you Bayside for a "best ever" vacation....my family will be back!

If you're looking for a relaxing vacation, this beautiful home is the perfect escape. When we opened the front door to the home we all experienced the "WOW" effect and it never wore off! It's quiet yacht club neighborhood location close to the islands and beaches provided fantastic water views and beautiful sunsets. On arrival the home was spotlessly cleaned, with towels, and all bath supplies. The kitchen is well equipped with all you need for preparing dinner. Having the boat to experience the gulf islands and beaches made this a truly memorable holiday. We especially liked Cayo Costa, and North Captiva Island beaches, reachable by boat only, because we had miles of beach all to ourselves. We collected many beautiful shells from piles of shells we found on the beaches. We also enjoyed restaurants on Cabbage Key, Pine Island, and Estero beach that we found using the on the water dining guide supplied by the owner. Everywhere we saw abundant wildlife from Osprey with their nests built on piling over the water, to schools of Dolphin's, Manatees and fish of all types. Although we never got tired of having the white sand between our toes at these pristine beaches, it was nice to return home to Bayside at the end of the day to lounge by the pool and watch the sun set on another beautiful day on the water. This place was perfect and we highly recommend it.

We had such a wonderful time, we are returning next year! Location, location , location!!! The Bimini Canal is the widest canal and lounging by the pool watching the boat traffic was great! We actually saw a family of manatees right off the dock, and a pod of dolphins was almost a daily occurance. We took the deckboat out almost daily to Sanibel, Estero, Cabbage Key, and as many places we could find on the maps!! The house was well-maintained and well stocked! We truly had a wonderful experience and cannot wait to go back next year!!

The property was clean, comfortable with all of the ammenities. The boat is in great shape. This was our first boating experience. We saw many dolphins and manatee. Location is another plus..only minutes from the gulf. It was a wonderful family experience. On of our best vacations ever. I would highly recommend this property.

We enjoyed our stay at Bayside very much. Having 3 bedrooms and 3 baths was very convenient for our group. Operating a boat was harder than I thought it would but we are novice users and Captian Sal was very understanding and patient. We explored the area and found many delightful things to do. I recommend this home for a vacation rental. I am glad they updated in 2004.

We just got back from two weeks at Bayside. We had two couples there and my father-in-law and his wife stayed a couple of nights too. An absolutley enjoyable vacation in a great home. Plenty of room, amenities and activities for all of us. Among our boat trips, we went to lunch to an island restaurant on North Captiva and saw many dolphins including a small pod that played in the wake and bow of a passing boat. Captain Sal and Vicki were tremendous to work with. We loved the area so much we bought a home while there.

We stayed at Bayside over Christmas and New Year 2009/10. We were with our daughter, her husband and our 2 granddaughters age 5 and 11 years. We had a wonderful time in this well equipped and comfortable villa in a fabulous location with the boat. The girls played every day in the pool and we enjoyed many boat trips for lunches and to fish.We all felt it was a home from home and we all want to come back again soon

My family and I (two children of 10 and 14) stayed for two weeks at Bayside and had a fabulous holiday. The owner was very helpful prior to our visit and provided all the information I needed very quickly. The villa has a lovely family feel to it, is very roomy, is maintained to a high standard and we felt at home from day one. The villa is positioned close to the River and we spent almost every day on the boat exploring the nearby islands and keys. Although we are not experienced boaters, on day one the Captain talked us through how to navigate the waters, showed us some great routes and recommended some unique 'watering holes'. Our personal favourites were The Waterfront, Parrot Key and Rum Runners. Every amenity is nearby, shops, cinemas, and main routes to other towns. I would thoroughly recommend this property to other holiday makers.
Owner response:Gill, My boys like Parrot Key, too. The open air dining with live music really suites our family's taste. Glad you found it. Thanks for your choosing our home, Vicki

Just returned from a quick trip to Bayside. This home is a quaint gem on a beautiful channel with easy access to everything and all the upgrades. Sunsets are amazing! From the boat we saw manatee, dolphins and a mantaray! The trip to North Captiva is an easy day trip even for an inexperienced boater. We had a great time, very relaxing and fun. Vicki and Carol provide everything you need with a kind voice. Captain Ron provides a plethera of local knowledge as well as boating information. This home was awesome for two couples but would be great for two small families (or one large) as well. ENJOY!
Owner response:Glad you enjoyed yourselves. Taking the boat rental that comes with our Cape Coral rental homes out and about is one of our favorite things to do, too. Getting out on the water early and often is the best way to see dolphins and all the water wildlife. So glad you took full advantage of it all. Come back soon.

We stayed at Bayside for the first time in late 2007 although we have rented the owners other prperty, Villa Foster, a number of times in the past. Bayside has a great position just off the ain river with plenty of passing boaters and wildlife to see. I think we saw manitee nearly every day and fishing from the boat deck is always a good way to pass the odd hour. This villa has all you could need for a great stay. As with their other property personal touches give a homely feel which you do not get with most holiday accomodation. The boat that comes with the villa gives you the chance to see another side of this coastline which you will not see from the land. Great for fishing and wildlife, you always see dolphins. Do not miss this chance even if you are not boaters. The training from local boat captains is comprehensive and if you stick to it I am sure you will have no probems and be hooked as we are. Great value property, just don't book it when we want it, which we will again! Thanks Dave & Vicki

You see the pool and the canal and everyone keeps their yards so nice. The kitchen and living areas are fully furnished and there is an awesome fireplace in the Master bedroom.
