This is our 2nd vacation at one of Joel’s locations in Tamarindo. Where do we start. We were just there at “Roma” and were told that our group of 10 were one of the first guests in this place. Let me say to start that we have been in accommodations comprised of houses and condos all over the world and these digs would be hard to beat for their splendor. Three immense terraces with fantastic views, 5 bedrooms, high ceilings, wonderful furniture, 3great art and arty objects everywhere and nothing seemed out of place. Everyone remarked about the abundance of space. This huge Penthouse was a work of art and architecture. Nobody asked for these comments and we all concurred this place is the cat’s meow. We were given a housekeeper ,Evela who wouldn’t let us lift a finger. She also cooked divine local fare a few times. The pool in the complex was special; huge, all-tile with an amazing waterfall that feels like a massage when you stood under it. The property was right in the middle of Tamarindo, in a gated community next to Tamarindo Beach. we didn’t need a car to get to anything. Let us say this about our host for the last 2 trips to Tamarindo. He knows food; the places he sent us even the coffee shop Sophias were superb. We were not just given keys like everyplace else, he checked us in personally and told us where he thought we might want to go. We called him once at 11pm, he answered our question and we thought that was impressive. Last but not least we thought it was very good value. We are planning another trip back for more days in January.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.
