Our spotless, smoke free "Getaway" is perfect for a family of four. Mom and Dad can sleep in the queen-bed in the downstairs bedroom, while the kids can have the twin-beds in the upstairs loft bedroom. We also have a queen-size air mattress so that you can sleep a total of six people. You can cook all your meals in the fully- equipped kitchen, or sample the many great restaurants in downtown Durango, which is just over a mile down the hill.
Our family uses the residence as a hub for day trips, for summertime exploration of the old mining towns amidst the fourteen thousand foot mountain peaks of southwestern Colorado, as well as trips to ancient Anasazi Indian ruins in and around Mesa Verde National Park. In the winter, our day trips take us to Durango Mountain and Telluride for world class skiing. In the evening, we return for a relaxing dip into the hot tub, and then go downtown for a great meal.
Everyone can find something of interest to do in and around Durango. Afterwards, we think you will have a comfortable and enjoyable stay in our "Getaway".
